Does that each time I launch the game. It worked fine until yesterday. I tried re-installing it as well. No idea what's wrong.

I have the same problem bro. Before patching and after the launcher is jump to menu after when i run the game.. Has anyone got solutions of this problem?

I have win7 x64
Intel core 2 duo 7500 2.93 Ghz
Patriot Memory 2 x 2Gb PC3-10700H (667 MHz)
Graphics Nvidia GeForce 440 GT Msi 1GB
Motherboard: DFI Lan Party Bi P43-T34

the launcher has long been like this. there are posts on the witcher forums that date back years ( if you go look, check out the advise given by Tommy, he is amazing at having the answers to issues. )

I long since stopped using the launcher and created an icon that goes to the game file for the .exe and run from there .

advise from another site is " try just bypassing the launcher and running the game from the game's .exe file (once again, under "\game location\bin\"). "

on my comp that would be path C: Program files(x86)>GOG>>TW2 EE>bin> Witcher2 application

I just click that and it starts right up

That does indeed work. Seems the launcher is just broken... I used the executable but I also got a few random crashes at some points. Still, at least I could play it.

It's not broken, you need .NET framework v4 installed for it to work.

I have Win 8.1 so it already comes with .NET Framework 4 installed and updates itself so that doesn't work. The launcher keeps crashing after a few launches so no, that won't work, launcher is broken.
