Always nice to have thread like this for games that have been released with patches coming.

My suggestions: All of them are minor but I think could improve the enjoyment of the game.

Mutagens/Enhancements
- Make mutagens, runes and armor changeable. Also combining mutagens might be nice. Like 5 lesser equals a normal, 2 normal equal a greater. But the changing of runes, mutagens would be more helpful.

Combat:
- Scale the combat better. Make the AI a little bit quicker maybe? Right now playing on hard and the combat is too easy.
- Instant kills are too easy on hard level. Get rid of them. Possibly change something on the weapon tree for the adrenaline also. The multi instant kill makes combat pathetically easy.
- Fast and strong swings are about the same speed. Makes using fast swings almost useless, using strong swings is better, more damage and about the same speed.

AI Issues
- When companion or quest leader opens a door, stop closing the door in Geralt's face!
- Pathfinding could be improved for both enemies and companions. Ex. Triss stuck and blasting wall with fire instead of enemies.
- Enemies trying to shoot through walls rather than finding a better vantage point.

Alchemy Issues:
- Quest items should not be broken down for alchemy and potions. I had my queen's pheremone broken down and when I needed it for a quest in Chapter 3, it was gone. That should not happen.
- Alchemy should remember ingredient choices. Mass producing bombs having to custom choose ingredients every time is tedious. Since alchemy wants to break down quest items.
- Mass producing should be available with a slider.

Inventory
- The inventory is a mess. Needs better categorizations. For example for enhancements, the runes, weapon oils and armor enhancements should be in categorized. Same for materials. Separated by precious metals, by monsters, cloth/leather etc.
- Inventory filter for junk items. Have to root through all tab to find junk items weighing Geralt down.
- Remove quest item symbol once item has been used for a quest.
- Possibly a storage or stash area.

Crafting
Make the crafter interface more streamlined. Having to escape after buying material to choose the craft me something is tedious when you do it often.

Further to the comment about improvement of inventory categorization, why isn't there an inventory filter for "Junk" items?
It's incredibly tedious having to sift through the "All" category trying to find useless crap to discard that's taking up precious inventory weight.

In the Alchemy Screen, let me know how many of which potion I already have. Also, if I change an ingredient for another, remember my choice and don't switch back to the previous (potentially quest-related) one. If I'm mass-manufacturing Grapeshots, I don't want to have to custom build every one.

With that in mind, why isn't there a slider to decide how many of a particular potion/bomb/trap I want to make rather than creating one at a time?

Great suggestions. I'd also want to add making quest items weight nothing since we don't have a storage.
Only 2

Stashbox is needed to keep some of the items around without having too much weight and sound needs fixing (dialog) between characters where it disappears into thin air and you can't hear the characters speak.

.. that, and also remove the "quest item" flag once the item has been used during a quest so I can get rid of it and not having to keep it on me.

Plus, port the game to PC :)
(ok, I couldn't help it... sue me)

Then yer missing out on extra cash ;)
Fix pathfinding (and some of the AI in general). I'm not that far in and have already noticed a number of issues with the AI being dumb as a brick in regards to pathfinding. Triss was snagged on a corner of one of the wooden coverings in the dragon sequence of the prologue and kept blasting fire into the side of it instead of the enemy. Two soldiers during the castle attack blocked each other so neither could get to the enemy, effectively creating a wall so I couldn't get to him to end the sequence. Swordsmen getting stuck behind crossbowmen. They kept trying to run through the crossbowmen and getting nowhere. Crossbowmen trying to shoot me through a brick wall. Prison guards getting stuck on corners. Even NPCs in Flotsam seem to have some issues with walking about.
can't remember if it works.
but allow the scroll wheel to be used while going through the inventory list.

if possible, let the inventory selection jump to the item based on the starting letter of the item.
I press 'P' i'll scroll to say "Potion" for example

Yeah, there's that but I've never had trouble in any game deciding what's trash or loot that I just want to sell. I guess I just don't understand the obsession with junk folders.

The items are actually labelled as "junk" in-game, and yet they do not have their own tabs in the inventory/shopping screen.

About Alchemy

- Mixtures should default to the most plentiful ingredient of whatever element is required
- Allow for batches to be made
- Quest items should appear in an entirely separate category from everything else so you don't accidentally use them.
- Geralt should memorize his scrolls after using them once.
- Bring back experimentation and if the concoction is successful, Geralt memorizes it.
- Potions should last a bit longer (maybe slow down toxicity reduction as a compromise)
- If control is taken away from you the potion counter should pause.

I'll add some more later
Small things I'd like to see.

-The ability to move between UI-pages. If I'm in the inventory and I want to go to the journal I shouldn't first have to exit the inventory.

-Reduce the time to get out of combat mode. After every battle you have to wait a few seconds before the game recognizes that the combat is over and the corpses become lootable. Reducing this delay would make resource gathering significantly less bothersome.

-Reduce the cooldown on the amulet. It is long and I would like to see it halfed or some such if not removed completely. I'm not entirely sure what purpose the cooldown is supposed to serve.

-A hotkey for the drink potion screen and (less likely) quicker drink potion movements.
I would like a conversation log, and for the combat log to be accessible in the menu after fights.
