There's a typo in the top-right of the screen where it says "profil" instead of "profile."

I figured you guys would probably see that anyway, but you never know. After all, there's a typo when you're starting a new thread on these forums so a little spelling feedback never hurts :)

It's not a typo, it's a word profile written in Polish:)
I don't think i will go there and register as forum member. I feel at home here. Looking at The Witcher 2 offcial site comment section located below of each article. I'm kinda afraid it will turn like Steam's subforum. Here we have much more mature conversation.

Oh. Everything else was in English, so I just assumed. Okay, my bad.

Which is why it's up to level-headed people from here to balance out the tides of lunatics. The forums will be moderated from day one as opposed to the virtually unmoderated nature of the current Discus comment system, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Will the whole forum be squished into the frame of the witcher.com site? No site of it's own? :( Because that would not be very cozy.
With all the ruckus about aspect ratios, we have learned that not everyone has a big monitor, some have very old and very small screens. And notebooks! On a notebook you want to be able to use every available pixel. So for some, the size of this picture will be the actual size.

The picture in the background, like in the old forums, was nice.
The color/brightness is perfect (the eye killing white writing on darkest black background in the early days of the last forum was just evil).

I like how you got the witcher himself to join and show off his profile. ;)

Will the search be functional this time? Because it's on a very good and visible position, which will be very good, if you can search for topics and phrases etc.

Search is fully functional now actually:)

Forum will be a part of the website, however it won't be too small and it will fit well on every screen (at least a vast majority of them).

The vast majority being all people with 4:3 screens?
I made a comparison of the picture on witcher.com and how it looks for me, please take a look:

Thing is, nobody uses the browser full screen - at least not the vast majority. ;)
I mean the F11 fullscreen.
There is VERY little space left for the actual forum, if space is allocated the way it's in the preview.

Where did you get that from? I am yet to meet someone who doesn't use browser full screen.

Also, the preview looks a lot like the GoG Forums main page - http://www.gog.com/en/forum - looks, cluttered, doesn't it? Now look at the forums... not cluttered at all. Maybe we should trust the designers for once, I'm sure they are well aware of screen resolution differences. It is their job, after all.

I`m one who doesn`t use browser full screen . But there are reasons behind it . As a moderator on the official forum i have notepad links to different fixes and also links to different websites and it`s easier for me to not run a full screen browser as everything i need is on my desktop and i can access it with one click . Just as an example i have a shortcuts on my desktop for this forum and others...one click and i`m viewing each and every forum or website .

Another full screen browser user here. :-)

Errr... how do you browse without the tools? I need my tabs, I need my bookmarks and address bar on top. Status bar and taskbar on the bottom. If there is no actual browser, you can also just remove mouse and keyboard. ;)

For the comparison, I used exactly the picture they gave us, that one which is fact. What is wrong with that?

And why are you so defensive against constructive criticism, which is particularly addressed at someone involved?
Have you been member of the last forum version when they implemented it? They needed A LOT of constructive criticism, because it was barely usable or bearable for a while. They got the feedback, they made it better... and then they closed it...

Edit: I think there has been a misunderstanding. I meant the type fullscreen you get when you hit F11.
