He meant Discus, the software used for comments on TheWitcher community page/blog, not a discussion board :) I guess they're switching to a custom comment software that will be moderated better than Discus. GOG is here to stay.

Well i`m no monk and i like frakkin here as well but to be sure i`ll definitely be a little busy come the last week of July. But i`ll drop by from time to time to see how the homeboys are doing . Marcin360: BTW. This whole discuss thing is temporary, so when we launch new forums it will be all gone. Also, you can rest assured that moderation and rules will be enforced as well from day one.

It's not the matter of getting along well, Discus was going to be temporary from the very beginning. It just happened to live longer than expected:)

I don't think anyone will miss it. Those discussion areas have oozed drama since the game was released.

What are the rules for the new forum going to be, or is that not decided yet? I wasn't a member of the old one, so I have no idea what to expect. Just asking because I tend to get a bit... overzealous at times :)

Don`t know if anything changes rule wise in the new one but in the old one as long as you didn`t flame , bait , troll , or swear then your good to go . Also we talked or posted just about everything like different games that were being played , joke threads , quiz threads and everything witcher related . Just a great place to come and hang out with friends and make new ones .

The mods were very lenient. People were allowed to have their say, unless it was blatantly breaking the rules.

It's looking good! I was hoping all the time that you'd have many features from the GoG-forums and the personalized overview of topics and the different categories (discussion, comment, including the SOLVEable questions) are just what I wanted to see!

An idea that struck me just now: You could make the sidebar smaller and keep it there even when inside a specific forum/category/thread. Make the categories expandable, showing the favourite topics (or X most recent topics, or the X most recent topics you've participated in.....) of each category when expanded so that you can see what's going on in your topics without returning to the overview-page.
