I'm honestly starting to think the forum being gone is somehow intentional. It's the only explanation that makes sense to me for it to go right before the game's release and still be down all this time. The only other explanation I can come up with is ineptitude of the highest order.

I have hosted and ran forums before. It's not that difficult and I'm just one person who did it in my spare time as a hobby. Here we have a game that is getting international media attention from some very high profile newspapers and was even given to the president of the United States yet it doesn't even have a simple, bare bones message forum? It's embarrassing.

Also note that CD Projekt's Polish board ( http://www.cdprojekt.pl/board/ ) has remained up all this time so someone there clearly knows how to maintain a message board.

Wow. Did not know about the Polish board. I think that we should make our feelings known over there. Respectfully, of course....Does Google reverse translate, English to Polish?

The "rest assured it will be back up soon" page with the angsty Geralt picture has been replaced with a lovely 404 not found page, so something is definitely happening.

Like I said before, the forums will be useless by then of course, most PC gamers having moved on. But what counts here is the FunBox gamers. Let's be sure the game is niiiiiiiiice and polished for them, hell, maybe PC gamers can help out with this...they're all a bunch of thieves anyway. Shit, all I bought was the CE and GoG editions, a mere $185 of my money. I deserve to get tossed to the back of the line. Might as well let us PC gamers do some Beta testing for consoles. You know, cause PC gamers are rich enough for that, and elitists. We can afford it.
