...looks bad. Why no official forum on launch day? Weird and troubling.
Yes, it doesn’t work for me either. The button on the official page is greyed out. It’s not the first time they messed up the board to look cooler or something. Do you remember when they changed it after the announcement of TW2? Man, this day sucked. I hope they won’t change it again.
They need to get them online ASAP or there will an internet shit-storm shortly, as people attempt to access their forums.

... which will only put even more stress on the board, making the whole thing worse :/

They probably doing it on purpose to cull out all the rants from here to their site. Their not as dumb as you think.

Before the game went live, You thought that this was GOD.com with all the fanboys worshipping GoG!!

Now the horns are coming out..... ;)
Thing is, the game itself is excellent. But aspects of the launch are troubling. Still, not as bad as the DA2 launch debacle.......
Yeah i dont see an official forum either, all i see is some sort of blog page using Disques Under the community section of the site.
Also it sucks that you need to create a new account in order to register the game, it seems to me from this like they plan to do some data gathering on the TW2 I am not a fan of these underhanded ways companies go about doing this, give me a choice/ask me.
The forums have been down for a few days now, since the launch of the new TW page. They're working on it to be ready asap, but they've had some other problems with the game itself and registration, also with the DLC, so they're taking care of that first.
Their site / forum was fine. I see no need for these changes. Now they are screwing up the perception of the company itself with these self inflicted problems.

Voodoo, you are the real voice of reason here... two thumbs up :) Even though I still have to play in windowed mode, manually set mouse to be inverted and have no Polish voiceovers yet... arrgghh... but I'll try to be calm myself :)
Yeah, but it's been there for a while. Maybe something more technical, under the hood, needed to be addressed? Anyway, I hope they'll put them up soon, until then we'll just have enjoy the company here at GoG ;-)

Thanks for the kind words.

Vanilla versions tend to be buggy. But they'll sort it out :-)

If anyone has been around for the last few times they had a large change, then there would be no surprise in the difficulties the forums are experiencing at this point. Each time there is a large launch of any kind, there are always "day one" issues. The forum was going to be made better than it was, with implementation of the things that some had been wanting.
The thing is, there is a hierarchy of what needs to be fixed today and what can be fixed tomorrow. It is much more vital that the issues with the Polish CE be addressed and that the patch be working. It is far less vital that the forum be there for folks to go and make their comments about the beauty of the game or the questions about how to make the game run on less than adequate systems. I am ashamed that some think there is an ulterior motive for information gathering here. The company has never been sneaky or underhanded about any issue that I have ever witnessed in over 900 days of being a forum member. These accusations are far more detrimental than any accidental mishap in getting the forum up and running again. The ones that make the forum have always shown they are conscientious and dedicated to the fans. They are, guaranteed, working to make it better now as fast as they can. We should all just be patient and happy this company does what it can to keep fans satisfied, even when there are hiccups in the service.
Well, that is exactly my point. The perception becomes the reality. Enough people start complaining, it takes on a life of its own. The internet only makes it worse, as folks tend to wildly exaggerate and deliberately flame in their misguided nerd rage.

Weeeell, except for the whole DRM thing.

Demut: Weeeell, except for the whole DRM thing.
Being forced by the distributor to make compromises might not be pretty, but it's definitely not sneaky or underhanded. They've told how it's gonna be early enough to cancel if it's a dealbraker.
