MysterD: For starters, I currently can't re-map my controls to Up, Down, Left, Right, Delete Key, or anything on the NumberPad.
jim_uk: Keymapping is being addressed in the upcoming patch.
It's not here currently at launch, now is it?
NOPE.
At least CDP is taking this step in the right direction and going to address this one issue out of many.
In the Witcher 1, we could change controls, graphics settings, and delete saves right within the actual game itself. In TW2 - this currently doesn't exist.
Antimateria: I haven't played the game but I have a 16:9 monitor so that doesn't matter to me. But perhaps I'll wait a bit and watch if somethings will be fixed. It seems that it needs some polishing. In the meantime I'll try to finish the first witcher. It's propably a good thing that I don't have money right now.
Nowadays it's always the same thing. Crysis 2, Dragon age 2.. People are saying that they were made for a console. And yes, I was unimpressed with DA2 and what i have seen Crysis 2.. well I liked the first more, seemed much bigger.
Witcher 2 cannot be worse than DA2 and I liked even that, it just was a huge step backwards.
There haven't been many reviews yet. And it's a shame there isn't a demo, so those things will delay my decicion.
Everyone expects perfection, there is no such thing. But hopefully when I get the game, I will be smiling. =P
DA2 might not be as great as the masterpiece that was DAO, but DA2 is still quite good - even despite its problems.
In DA2, at least I can change setting of graphics, controls, delete saves within the game. I cannot do this w/ TW2 - this has to be done w/ the launcher, for the most part. For save deletion - I need to either delete manually from the save folder OR use that nice little utility someone made.
