First and foremost, the random-loss-of-control bug. It's a definite glitch, and it's *damn annoying* if you're either Quen-ed up at the time (because it's not fixed by being hit, but by taking /damage/), or if you're in a highly damaging situation (where, say, you are much more likely to resort to your expendables in the first place); letting the Draug hit you just so you can swing swords or cast a sign is not smart.

Second, the quest flags sometimes make little sense (has /anybody/ found a quest that actually involves the Report for Thaler, for instance), should expire after irrelevance (this matters for /heavy/ quest items, like Seltkirk's armor, which is nice but not what you want to be wearing in late Act 3, say), and should probably protect a better in alchemy (like the ingredient autopicker never picking a quest item unless you've run out of appropriate non-quest items, and explicitly warning you when it does).

Third, the sword-drawn status involving cut-scenes. Perhaps the most idiotic case is the fight against Dmitri; after all, *you bear all responsibility for starting the fight* so you have NO excuse to be unprepared but the game only gives you control with swords sheathed and standing in very close range. Absurd.

A distant fourth, it's fairly odd that while you get extremely precise detail on how much damage individual weapons do, you have much less information on e.g. Aard stun chances, and it's completely up to you to pause the game and parse the combat log to judge how many hp monsters have. It would be more consistent to either have damage numbers be fairly vague but with textual descriptions in the monster info (e.g. "You expect that the average Nekker would not survive more than a few blows with your silver sword" or "Draugirs will be barely damaged by your Igni")... or to have knowledge grant data about hit point ranges and attack strength, which is much less RP and is more G.
Ok for me also the shortnes of ch3, it just felt rushed. Also getting to Loc muinne from vergen, its as though you've just gone through the gate and stepped round the corner.
I don't hate but i don't like the way the plot transition between Chapter 2 and 3. I mean how did Geralt and partner of your choosing got to the snowy mountain at the first place? I feel like there is some hole / gap.
The only thing that's been annoying me in TW2, is the repeated banter of NPC's. Another thing that definitely needs fixing is the combat animations and the irregular and inconsistent 'cooldown' between animations - (also the input lock-up bug, of course). This one hasn't frustrated me enough for me to start hating it, though.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on chickens," like a B-rate production of The Sound of Music? How have I never heard that before? Simply brilliant.

But yeah, despite somehow never hearing those particular lines before, I agree with you about the banter. Seriously, if a kid runs up and asks why I have two swords again, he's going to get a "Foltest surprise," if you catch my drift.

Haha! Yeah, same here. Chorab being mental and telling his stories even in his sleep, is a bit too hilarious to be angry at... but everything else really puts my knickers in a twist!

Those damn children get on my nerves. HEY, KID. COME CLOSER AND I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT MY TWO SWORDS ARE FOR.

Aaaa, good catch about The Sound of Music! I completely missed that.
Steam.
I HATE the annoying freezing problem of this game. It makes me press the RESET button of my computer again and again. I cannot use the CTRL+ALT+DEL to exit the game.

That sound like a hardware related problem.
well the first aspect I hate is the fact that the game lacks of the testing.
my first issues was due graphics and 3D and Video drivers CDPR release the games and a lot of people had this issue. what i mean is there was a lack of testing of the game

secondly my brother and I miss the combat Styles from Witcher 1, particular the one that allow you to combat with multiple enemy's we have they remove this from Witcher 1
Controls that haven't been fixed after 3 patches. Go figure. But CDPR took the time to implement idiotic and unneeded nerfs to the already inferior Mage tree.

Mutagens that can't be overwritten.

Inability to jump unless there is a "jump here" cursor. I thought Lara Croft taught everyone how to deal with jumping and ledges. Back in the early 2000s.

Losing adrenaline generation during Leto and dragon fights.

Inventory menu that sucks after 3 patches, and is actually inferior to a fan-made mod.

Inability to drink a potion without kneeling. I don't mind drinking prior to a fight (as opposed to in the middle of a fight), but I don't want a 30-second animation to go with it.

The fucking Cat heartbeat, and the inability to turn it off or mod it away.

Potions that have a list of negative effects longer than my arm.

Signs that suck dick compared to what they were in TW1.

Yeah, that's about it.

Yes its just missing, in prolog->Ch1 you go via boat not much to do on a boat and same fro ch1 -> ch2
Greater Mutagens drop rate and inability to replace the little shitty ones if we decide to use them until we find better!

we can use the shitty ones for alchemy now though, right?
