We need option for FULL key bindings. Currently, there are some hotkeys in the game that don't show up in the input settings. Can we have all hotkeys customizable in a future patch?

Until they do, edit the ini files directly in your documents -> witcher 2 -> config folder. Can't tell you the exact ini file as it's dependent on whether you're using the default keybindings or not.

user.ini if you have, one of the others that are named after their presets if you haven't.

OMG they repeat again that lazy crap? In TW1 the spacebar was glued to pause or something, for a first game from a beginner team, that was boring but ok.

From veterans, it shows more people full of themselves.

You can rebind whatever you like using the ini file. Please don't insinuate you can't when you obviously haven't even tried. ;p

In the Documents/Witcher2/ Config you will find DIMapping, ini This file is the game's Key interface file. In it you will find entries for all the keys An example is DIK_W=IK_W. When you press the key on the left, the right side action is done if one assigned. When you press the W key the W action (move forward) is done. If I am left handed and want to use the Arrow Keys for movement, I change the line to DIK_W=IK_Up.

When you edit the file keep the launcher's key binding page open and check to see if the key is already in use, in case you need to rebind the default key also.

That's right I won't buy this game until long because I got f..k by some poor commercial mentality and couldn't get a collector box.

But I was commenting from TW1 experience.

that you can rebind some keys using ini is one thing, ALL keys and commands is another thing. I bet you also didn't tried that and you aslo comment something you didn't even tried. So please stop your blind fanboy non thinking attitude.

But, I have, and you can. And you clearly insinuated that the developers were doing it again in W2 by being "full of themselves', hence my comment about you not even having tried.

So, I stand by my statement. Stating a fact on how it works in W2 is hardly "fanboy non thinking attitude".

*shrug* It's ok though. You obviously have a lot of repressed anger and issues. Let it all out.

Thanks. This works, albeit it's a confusing method. Shame on CD Projeckt for not providing a proper customization option.

The game uses 38 keys to perform actions. The game will recognize 99 keys on a keyboard and every one can be bound to a game action. Using the DIMapping.ini file I can bind any key to those 38 actions, Not some, any and all.

It is such a simple system even a senior citizen (me) can figure it out. All it takes is a little work and thought.

Yes, I clearly stated you can. But, thanks for agreeing with me.
is this added yet?

Seriously, read the replies before you revive a dead thread. People have explained that you can, in fact, bind the keys however you want.
