My computer specs are:
Windows 7 x64
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHz
Memory: 4GB
Videocard: ATI Radeon HD 4570.

What I'd like to know is, my video card is definitely outdated, but is it so bad that because of it I get like 15 fps on average?

I guess the question is: Should I upgrade to a new videocard (is this going to allow me to actually play the game) or is it a problem with my processor? - Or perhaps even the motherboard (which I didn't post, I know).

Yes, that's a very poor video card that is well below the minimum requirements for this game listed on the box or the official website.

Your processor isn't great (the game really likes four cores), but the video card is definitely the bottleneck for you.

If you were going to upgrade both, you may as well just build a new PC at that point.

You can get plenty of video cards that would easily outstrip your CPU in that price range (ie: your CPU would now be the bottleneck).

The question is, how many watts does your power supply unit produce? May as well choose a card that doesn't require you also replacing the power supply, since pretty much any card in that price bracket is going to be overkill for your CPU.

There are not many options standing before you. you can't upgrade to high end GPU because than you will have a bottleneck. If you do upgrade it then you need to have PSU of atleast 450W. I honestly don't know what GPU should you buy to avoid a bottleneck.. wait for more comments for that.

My Power Supply is not good. I'm thinking it's most likely 350W, minimum. As the last user said, I most likely need >400W, so I guess that's an issue.

Yes, that's an issue.

If all you're looking for is a modest upgrade without replacing your power supply, a GT 440 is ~$70. It's low end gaming card, and I'd usually not recommend it, but since anything in the $100-200 range means replacing your PSU, and greatly outstripping the capability of your CPU, it's something you may want to take a look at as it has modest power requirements (300 watts) and is above the minimum specs (unlike your current card which is well below them).

There's not much room for an upgrade on that motherboard; there's not much of a market in LGA 775 CPUs anymore, and an E7500 is close to the best you're going to get anyway.

If you intend to keep that computer a couple more years, I probably wouldn't overspend on a GPU for it. Something like an ATI 5770, nVidia GTX 450, or GTX 460 768MB, depending on what you can find a favorable deal on.

For a power supply, there are very few well-made power supplies under 500W, even though you don't need that much for a 5770 or GTX 450 with that low-power CPU.

Damn, I never realized my computer was 'so bad'. I mostly just play Starcraft II on modest settings so I figured The Witcher 2 on the lowest settings wouldn't be an issue.

I don't understand the DDR2 thing very well, but I did a bit of research and a quick scan and it says I'm running at 800MHZ. While I don't know the specifics, I think that's what you meant; unless you meant 800 minimum or something. I'm not very good with computers. Though I'm learning a lot from you guys!

Your memory is fine, and your CPU is adequate.

Find out what the model of your power supply is, and if it's OK, all you have to upgrade is your video card.

With power supplies, it's not so much the watts the matter, but the amps on each rail.

Yes I meant ddr2 800, which arguably is better than ddr3 for gaming, due to the lower latency. Slower than 800 is not acceptable, but since yours is running at 800MHZ you are fine.

The PSU I linked is pretty good. It has 2 12V rails with 20A on each for a maximum power of 240 Watts on each rail.

NO. Absolutely NO. That is an awful cheap Chinese PSU. It is well known to be one of the worst power supplies ever made, by the notorious Deer. It will ruin components if it doesn't start a fire when (not if) it blows.
