When in doubt, assume Linux ;)

Usually, changes are posted on the game-specific forum, but no sign of it this time :\

I guess because it's a beta and not an full release update. Though I don't mind announcements for betas as well. Official release update will probably follow soon enough (and probably won't be very different from the "beta" update).

I see here a portuguese version of the installer, which I hadn't noticed before (not sure though if it wasn't there already). Heh, Witcher in portuguese, I definitely need to see this with mine own eyes.
Decided to install this updated. Checked the installation folder, etc and could not find an updated Readme file or anything else to indicate what this update added, fixed, etc.

Yes, changelog is missing in the patch and full release. You can find it here however:

Until we get our individual 'new' flags back, or at least get some 'last updated' dates, anything that triggers the 'NEW & UPDATED) flag in my library needs to be explained in the game's forum.
Great, we have even Linux version. What about playstation. I know, i know it is not GOG problem, but i must to grumbling(

That is definitely like usability improvement #1 on my list.

Definitely, I was just saying why probably GOG have missed informing about it on the forum. I'd like any update to have an easy to see information about it without digging through tons of links. It can be built into the interface quite nicely. I.e. clicking on Library it can have an updates section with concise list of changed titles and optional expandable changelogs.

Does anyone know why the W2 Update flag on GOG is still active?

Update: It looks like it finally went away!

I was really hoping that they had updated the controller problem on PC. I sure hope they get around to it I would really like to play again. (When trying to look around with the right stick on a controller the sensitivity is way too high, and there is no option to correct this in game.)

Just my grumble. A list of updates on the "Updates" page would just make so much sense.
