I can run it with it on, but I prefer the higher framerates of having it off.

gilozoaire: Did some testing with all graphical settings set to ultra (with ubersampling activated)

result: 19-22 fps (in flotsam).

It doesn't seem to get much lower than this. There is a noticeable input lag but that might be due to vertical sync, + low fps)

Still not playable for me, I need at least 40 fps

What about you all?

My specs:
core i5 2500K @ 4,5 ghz + radeon hd 6870, 3gb ram, win7 x86

edit: goes up to 55-66 without ubersamp, vertical sync, and depth of field effects.
Graphics are indeed more "jagged".
Same here, enabling UBER knocks me down to the exact numbers you've(19-22 fps) posted even though we have completely different specs.
And i get pretty much the same numbers as you with it disabled. (goes up to 55-66 without ubersamp, vertical sync, and depth of field effects. )
I need V-sync since i cannot stand tearing.
But it is not real "jagged" for me, the in-game AA seems to be working just fine for me, i'm not forcing anything in my Ati control panel since there is no need.

So i would just assume the in game AA quality is a set value and if you still see jaggies , then its your resolution.
Mine is set at 1920x1200

So that is kinda weird, that our machines get pretty much the exact same performance using the same options.

Anyway, since there is no official X-fire support and the game plays flawless and looks great without UBER enable, i'm just gonna play without it for now and not worry too much about it.

My specs.
Core i7 920 @ 4.2ghz
12gb ram
two HD 6970's in X-fire
Win7 64bit
You guys do know there is an AA option in the launcher that does (somewhat) reduce aliasing right? Though as far as I can tell it seems to be doing something closer to Crysis' edge AA or Metro 2033's AAA than normal multisampling. I'm not exactly an expert however so I could be wrong.

I was getting low 30's with uber everything but its unnecessary high is awesome its just there for future proofing the game I believe. SEE your rig isn't that great afterall!! Like Microsoft's performance rating.. The cray computer fails too ;)

NikolasFigaro: My PC: i-7 950 cpu, 12 GBs Ram, nVidia GTX 580

With every setting maxed out, at a 1920x1200 resolution, WITHOUT uber-sampling, I manage to get a stable 60fps.
With ubersampling turned on, the frame rate drops to about 15-20 fps. Unplayable. And to be honest, I took some screenshots, and I hardly see any major differences (which would justify the performance hit at least).

Other than that, I am LOVING the game.
See, you wouldn't have problems like these if the game was released on PS3.

Do you actually need v-sync when you're mostly below 60 fps? From my understanding, you shouldn't notice any tearing.

Anyways, my personal solution to screen tearing has been to buy a 120hz monitor. It's sometimes still there when going over 120hz, but it's almost unnoticeable.
ubersampling is gonna be used for multi GPU. just wait some driver update and patch

It definitely tears with v-sync disabled regardless of framerate.
When 120hz monitors get to larger sizes and better prices i certainly will be moving to one, but for now it is no big deal, since i have no interest in 3d gaming and i have no complaints gaming with v-sync on.

Anyway, back on topic....
Yeah hopefully we will get multi-gpu support in a timely manner and i wont be finished with the game by then.
But for now, i've toggle UBER on and off and for me it is no big deal to play with it disabled.
I found this video it says it have uber sampling on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZGXzie0w_s ;D

Ubersampleing is BROKEN by the devs admission they will be fixing it later.. maybe

I use Ubersampling and with Vsync turned off . I'm using a single GPU card and using rez of 1920*1080. I get average of 30 fps in daytime and average of 48 fps in dungeons.

Whoa!!! What is your config?
