1- The two dudes in Flotsam that approach Geralt with an offer to test their 'stuff'. They're alchemists and they mention a lab in Vizima. They hang around Einar's bookstore and usually after Geralt accepts the offer they park themsleves inside the store.

Is there anyrhing to pursue here or it's just a reference i'm mising ?

2-The dude outside Henselt's camp turning rocks.

Same question, what am i missing here ?

Thanks.

The first one is just a joke i reckon, might have repercussions if they make an expansion or release a third game (i'm just guessing now) but that would be nice.

Second one doesn't do anything either, maybe they forgot to give him a quest or perhaps it just adds to the atmosphere of a living camp.
Don't know bout the rock turner, but if those two guys you mentioned are who I think they are, they're involved in a quest that also involves the incense seller.

Whaaaat? I must've missed something, care to elaborate? (Sorry OP for sort-of temporarily stealing your thread)

They're related to the Salamandra sympathizer on the pier ?

I won't be too spoilerific, but there's a quest you can get from two guys who want to find out the formula of the incense seller's 'special incense'. You end up meeting them in their lab outside Flotsam. I'm thinking these are the two guys the OP mentioned.

Namur, I honestly don't remember. I did every quest I could find in Flotsam before heading to the kayren, so I don't remember all the details of them. I could possibly check the game journal when I get home tonight to see what other info it provides on it.

Oh no i don't think so, only one guy gives that quest, he is on the Pier.

yeah, you may be right. I looked up the quest on the wiki. I seem to recall two guys on that one though (I believe it's the alchemist and his bodyguard).

Those 2 guys give you a free mutagen. Far as I know that is as far as it goes. If you don't already know, you can apply mutagens by going to your skills screen and looking for skill that have a mutagen slot(represented by a hole in the ring of the purchased skill) and then selecting the mutagen you want to put into it.

The guy outside of Henselt's war camp...I don't know, maybe he lost the keys to his horse or something. You can't talk to him and he has no relation to any quest I have so far seen so I think he is just local color.
The 2 alchemists near the dwarf smith give you a mutagen. It's kind of the tutorial for mutagens.

Ah, obviously I was way off base on that one. Apologies, Namur.

Ah, that makes sense, although with the notifications of received/lost items being completely fubar in some instances it's hard to keep trrack of such subtleties. Thanks ;)

So the guy outside Henselt's is just added flavour then ? Ok, since i didn't miss anything i can live with that.

It didn't notify me either. The inventory will usually show newest item first when you open it. That's how I found out what they were talking about.

Careful this game sometimes eats items you are supposed to receive too.

I gave up of keeping track of anything besides weapons and armor, and that's because i only carry one or two of each at any given time. Without any sorting options keeping track of stuff it's a chore.

One of the aspects that defintiely could use a overhaull it's UI and menus.
