Will TW3 be playable on OSX? Considering the first two games were wrappd in a Wineskin, I presume TW3 will follow the same path? I just can't find anything about it... I read about SteamOS / Linux support, but the site itself is really unclear on what platforms are supported, it only lists PS4 / XBONE / PC...

Thanks for any info!
I'm very interested in this as well. I was debating pre-ordering, but then I noticed it wasn't listing Mac as a supported platform -- and I've reached the point where I simply won't buy any game which isn't available from the publisher on Mac.

The buy.thewitcher.com site also only lists PC, not Mac. But a google search revealed a number of announcements of the game being made available for SteamOS, all of which also said it would be available for Mac OS X.

So it's really unclear right now what's really the case. But with E3 happening this week, my guess is we'll have a more definitive answer to this by the end of the week.

The last two games were wrapped because they were DirectX 9 games and wine or eON could be used for porting. To the best of my knowledge eON does not yet support DX11 or DX10 and Wine are just working on DX10 support.

So there is a strong possibility this will be a native title. The worst that can happen, IMO, is using something like Valve's ToGL. But if you have doubts, hold off on buying until there is more info.
@zgwortz, indeed. Let's hope E3 brings more info.

@silviucc, thanks. Holding off is exactly what I'm going to do, until it becomes more clear which platforms are supported in what manner.
I was actually wondering this! I preordered anyway because the order can be cancelled right up to the day of release. Worst-case scenario, I keep the preorder, retain the preorder bonuses and the game is eventually updated to work on macs.
