CaptainKremin: This is blatent rubbish.

Better graphics don't make a game PC-centric.

The whole game design is straight out of the console to-do list.

At least understand what the argument is before chirping out.

mastorofpuppetz: LMAO, it takes a LOT of resources and money for a small dev to code a game to sue the highest end PC hardware, so no your wrong.

The game also doesnt hold your hand, is very adult, is basically nothing liek a console RPG.

You please understand what you are talking about before being yet another whiney PC moron.
Wow.. just wow.. you're an idiot.

Great points you made there............... Attack the poster as you cannot formulate a sensible thought. Trolling 101. Your saying pouring resources into a high end Pc engine is not significant? LMAO.
You know what other RPG doesn't hold your hand, and have a sequel coming out that's highly anticipated by RPG loving console owners?

Demon's Souls, and its sequel Dark Souls. I bet a lot of elitist PC gamers would run away crying after playing those games.

demons Souls is awesome, its more hardcore then anything on PC, the horror, LMAO. One of the best games this gen,too bad PC snobs wont play it cause the taint of consoles is on it lol.
Elitism is always silly. You're not smarter or better than anyone for enjoying yourself with anything if they don't do the same. Just because I like peanuts doesn't mean I can't enjoy almonds.

Most importantly, there are a great many features that come stock on most console games, that PC games could learn from. It's important for developers to develop their own design skills.

The era of point and click adventure is over, and a good thing, because it never showcases the improvements in animation made over the years.

Nope.. it's not that I am unable to reply in kind.. it's just that going by your's I can see no point.
When I started playing TW2, the whole vibe of the game already heavily implied this game would go to consoles, from the 2nd-app for graphics-options, to game controller support, to 16:9 ratio only (plz 16:10!), to the streamlined gameplay heavily implied a console port. While it does suck that possibly TW2 could've been better as a PC exclusive: I'm not so bitter because at least PC gamers were treated first before console games in a gen where PC gamers usually get the shaft. It's still a far-cry from what PC gaming used to be in terms of what's suppose to be supported though.

*still waits for 16:10 patch*

Controller support has been around on Pc for ages, please that is a moronic comment.

The whole point of spending extra money for a gaming rig is because PC is so versatile it can do anything. Which inluds sitting ona couch and playing a game on a HDTV with a controller. Controllers and PC games have been around sicne the 80's. Stop with the moronin controller BS.

Really? You want to start this again.. read what I actually said, not what you want me to have said.. which BTW, actually does prove 'you're an idiot'.

fishboy11: Ok i really like the witcher 2, but after the first few minutes of play it was painfully obvious that it was made for both pc's and consoles, so the fact that its coming to xbox 360 is no surprise or the fact that you guys have a 360 version of TW2 thats ready to be shown at E3.

What i wanna know is why you blatantly lied to the fans and said that TW2 was going to be 100% for the PC when it is obvious that it is not and that from day 1 it was designed with both pc and consoles in mind and PC users get stuck with quite a few features in the game that were designed for consoles.

Like i said i like the game but i would have liked it even more if it wasn't so obviously a pc/console title and didn't stink of consolitis, but regardless of that fact i just wonder why you felt you had to lie
CDPR has NEVER said that TW2 would be a pc exclusive. Please cite your source.

Fail.

fishboy11: no i would rather the game not have console qte's, a console inventory system, dx11, and countless other console things about the game i could mention, i could care less that they are porting it to console, i just care about the fact that they said it was going to be a 100% pc game and its obviously not and never was, they should have made the game strictly for pc like they said they were going and worry about porting it later, like i said i still like the game it just could have been a lot better without all the console features it has, which it shouldn't have, i'm just a little miffed at the fact that they repeatedly talked about how it was going to be designed 100% for the pc when the whole time they were making it for pc and consoles, the console features wouldn't bother me if they had said from day 1 that it was going to be cross platform, it just takes away some of their credibility since the only reason i can possbily think of them lying like that was to boost pc sales.

Don't get me wrong its not so much the console features that i am upset about it the fact that they knowingly lied,
Stop it. They never said that. Again, link?

Would like to point out that the melee combat of swinging the sword in The Witcher 1 was a QTE. Also, having QTEs in a PC game again, brings back some good memories. Old PC gamers like me will remember some great classic PC games that was all QTE game play.

As early as 11/25/2010 CD Project talked about this game going to console. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-11-25-will-the-witcher-2-come-to-console
How many more threads like this are gonna be there, geez, it's getting boring people!

How about you just go for another playthrough of the game and take it easy.

Way way too many. I've given up actually.

TheCheese33: You really aren't helping the PC gamer image right now. Crying like a little bitch because consoles get the same game won't earn you any brownie points.
That's hogwash!

What exactly defines a PC gamer, other than the fact that he/she plays games on a PC? Is it really such a thing as a PC gamer image? Is PC gaming some kind of cult we are not aware of? Or are we talking about a gaming caste system now? Is there a fundamental difference between PC gamers and console gamers? What if someone plays on both? Is he/she some kind of a twisted mongrel or a split personality?

Since when do people classify by the gaming platform they like?
