On the noticeboard I don't see the contract for the Troll, instead i see a notification telling me to go to thewitcher.com and make a forum profile, and "enter the code in the startup screen" I don't see any forums over there yet, What should I do?
You add your profile in the launcher, tell it to download the DLC then wait forever with CONNECTION ERROR, RETRYING IN 10 SECONDS
I've downloaded an installed it, that seemed to work fine. But the game doesn't seem like it reacts to it.

I am getting that CONNECTION ERROR, RETRYING IN 10 SECONDS as well. Have been all day.
Is there anywhere else that you encounter trolls? A sidequest says i need a Troll Tongue
So I've had to skip it on my first playthrough. Still wouldn't mind if someone could tell me what's wrong.
I was lucky I guess and was able to download it (very slowly though).

Once you download it you have to install it. You do so on the same menu, be sure there is a green check next to the DLC.

It is a relatively short thing so you aren't missing much. Took me all of 10-15 min. I only did it to get the troll tongue, which let's you do that ritual. The outcome is only a +1 stat boost to vigor regen. Not a huge deal if you miss it.

In chapter 2. I'm not sure completely but *spoilers* if you side with the scoia....scoieate.....the elves at the end of act 1 you then go to vergen. One of the main quests there involves finding a troll, who you talk to

I've done that too. Still doesn't work.

Same here. Downloaded it, installed it, It's checked green. Still got that note at the message board. The pre-order DLCs (Roche Jacket and Magical Suit) don't seem to work either (although I'm not sure, when I'm meant to get them)

Heh, I was worried I might have missed more as the DLC screen says 90 minutes. Vigor regen would have been nice but no biggie, will play this through more than once anyway.
