Yes, things will play-out fine and in fact I'd recommend removing the mod after you're done purchasing the items so that it won't override any changes in the upcoming patch.

I did a quick test. I installed the mod, opened the game made a save. Then I exited, removed the mod and went back into my game. He still had the items for sale. I guess the mod adds the items to the save game?

Not a bug...the first time you beat him you get a choice of prize...the troll head is one of them.

Meleteles Heart is not a main quest...its a side quest. If you screwed up and didn't get the tongue you have the choice to just sell the pendant to the witch.

I think its really cool that your one time decision actually shapes another decision!

Not if you do the dice poker quest before you do the troll quest.

It is a bug, because Geralt asks the guy if he can buy the troll head, and he says he'll put it up in a poker match, which of course he doesn't. So either, fix it so he puts it up in the poker game, or remove his response saying he would if you already finished the poker quest.

I agree. He should have said something along the lines of "Sorry buddy, you already had your shot at me. I'm keeping it." Then I think there would be no question that it isnt a bug.

I got it in a poker match. The only way you can play him is in the poker quest..you have to beat everyone else.

He does put it up. As soon as you beat him you have two dialog options. "Coin is fine" and the other is something along the lines of " So you are a hunter/trapsmen" or something close. Choose the second Dialog and you get several options to talk about, including "I want the female Toll's head".

The bug of Sandler just affects the fact that the troll will not give us the Raven Armor Schematic (he gives us that if we bring to him his mate head).

Quest wise, you can complete the quests with these outcomes:

SPOILER






- Let the troll live (killing the bandits to avenge his mate), get the final reward from Chorab instead of Merse and complete the Troll Bridge quest while "failing" Melitele's one.

- Let the troll live as before, THEN kill him the same to gather the tongue to complete Melitele's quest.

- Kill the troll, get the reward from Merse, then complete Melitele's quest.


I did find the mod useful btw, just to get the troll's mate head and get the Raven Armor Schematics, since I wanted to change the upgrades on it (that I got importing the savegame of TW1).

I'm referring to talking to him after you've already done the poker questline. He still tells you he will give it up in a poker match.

Hey, this mod looks great. I'm having the same issue as everyone else. For some reason though RapidShare won't let me download the file. I'm getting an IP Address Modified error. I even created a basic account. Is this on my end? I really want to download this because it wouldn't feel right moving on to Act II without it.
