*SPOILERS -- READ AT YOUR OWN RISK*

Hey guys, going through my second play through and got to the part where Letho kidnaps Triss. You go to Sile's room to investigate, and then talk to Margot. This time, however, instead of Triss talking to Dethmold (I think it was Dethmold my first playthrough...but I can't remember completely), she talks to Philippa. Completely different conversation. Cool, cool.

However, I was kinda hoping she would talk to Dethmold again, seeing as on my first playthrough that conversation made little sense to me, but will probably make complete sense to me know that I've played through the game and know what's going on. Anyone know the triggers for Triss talking to different people? I think its cool, I'd just love some clarification.
If Iorveth is captured you get Dethmold, if not Phillipa.
Thank you for that quick reply! Well that's good, I didn't want to go waaay far back to see a different conversation. Lol. Thanks.
I assume Iorveth gets captured if you don't give him his sword?

Not at all. I found out that the event at Elven Bath does not actually decide your path - it affects the town yes, but you are still free to choose either Roche or Iorveth.

Yes, yes he does.

(spoiler)

If you decide to not give him his sword, Geralt will elbow Iorveth in the throat and Roche will capture him, after which he'll be impisoned on the barge like the rest of the Scoia'tael.

But as vAddicatedGamer said, you can still side with Iorveth even if you do decide to get him captured.
