Possible to get on the Nexus? THanks.
Deadly mod, thanks!

I have seen one bug, not sure if it's the mod or the game: sometimes when in the shop, item text does not scroll even when it's obvious there's more text. It doesn't happen all the time though. I'm not sure if it's just one or two particular items or what. I'll take a closer look if it happens again.

Thanks. Either way, it sounds like something on the UI side. I'll keep an eye out, but knowing what item would be a huge help - especially a savegame by the vendor so I can see it quickly if it isn't something common.

I'll upload my stuff there sooner or later. I'm sort of anticipating their 3.0 version, since for some reason I find it pretty time consuming to make entries there with the information and screenshots people clamour for. I find it a lot more convenient as a downloader :-)

Thank you very much good sir. Great mods!
I stopped using Nexus back when they started playing video ads. I'm all for ad supported revenue, but that shit crosses my too invasive line.

Not even all the funky free file upload/download sites with their billion ads and attempts to get you to sign up are as invasive as that. So, I'm totally ok with most of you mod authors using something like mediafire.

you can easily block them via adblock... just saying. I never actually saw a video on the nexus anyway, something in my network must already be blocking something, or maybe my players just borked.

I use adblock, but it's the Google Chrome version, and it does not block Nexus' video ads that play before your download can start. That said, I totally understand the need to generate revenue, and have no problem making exceptions in adblock for community sites I love, and I used and loved Nexus for a long, long time from back in the Oblivion days, but when he switched to those video ads as a precursor to getting your download started, it stopped being a community site in my eyes, and I stopped using it. I'm not partial to his finances, but I like to think he could have found a different way to keep the servers running that didn't require him switching to video ads.

I just double check the site as it's been some time. They're still there, and still playing ads for things like dishwashing detergent. I mean, if I did want to sit through a video ad on a community gaming site, could it at least be something even remotely relevant? :p

Well if people request me to provide an alternate mirror i will do that, but they'd have to do it on the Nexus. You gotta realize, its a huge hassle to check 10+ topics on a forums for mod-feedback or things, when it could be all centralized on nexus.

I probably downloaded upwards of 400gb from the nexus already ,p
I have no problem with the ads. What is the big deal? Do you even realize the bandwidth costs of maintaining all the various Nexus sites. Believe me, DarkOne is not getting rich from those sites. In fact, he has my gratitude for providing an invaluable service to all modders and mod users.
If people have that much of a problem with it, just use flashblock for FF. Not saying you should circumvent their ads - just if it's a matter of life and death to you. Not that I'm advertising for them myself, but they do offer premium memberships without ads - I don't have one because I don't actually download mods all that often enough to make it worthwhile to me.

Anyway, this kind of seems like a discussion for another thread. Typically I don't care all that much if somebody mirrors my mods anyway. It'd be nice if they didn't so I could make sure people aren't coming back to complain about old versions with bugs long since fixed, but what can you do. Half the time nobody asks first anyway.

In the past, I haven't just put my stuff all on one site and I don't see why I should start now. But truth be told, you do get quite a few downloads and feedback on the Nexus sites, so somebody must be finding them useful, so there's no harm in also uploading to that site as well.

Also, you only have to sign up if the file is over a certain size. It's not like you have to pay to sign up either.

Post edit: adding to this - a lot of free download sites also make you wait an extraordinarily long and obnoxious time before you can get the file. And then they obfuscate the download link so you click the wrong thing if you're not used to their site and have to go through the countdown timer all over again.

Would it be possible to see screenshots, and what size is the 'original font' ?

If so a side by side comparision with the original would be great.

Cheers.

Thanks.
Such a small change, such a great improvement. thank you :)
Excellent mod, thank you.
this is one of the most useful mods. Simple but badly needed. I thank the author.
