Where to begin...
Forced to register (for DLC) with a crappy launcher that can't connect to servers half the time.
Why in the world is the complete English dialogue not included in the base install, or at least included as a standalone download since the buggy dlc downloader isn't working properly?
The reason I love gog.com is because we don't usually have to deal with this kind of crap, but I'm at the point where the skidrow version is looking like the easier install option (just to play my legally purchased game).
Please sort this crap out. We want to continue buying from you.
I didn't have to download anything, all the English subtitles and language is already included.

Also I didn't have to sign in for the troll DLC either, just click download, go back to the main menu, wait for it to finish, then back to the DLC menu and hit install.

Same here, I've had no issues at all.

DLC button was greyed out until I registered the game with SN. Maybe different for you, I can only speak to my experience.

"English Speech files" was one of the DLC packs listed after registration, so either this was listed in error or it was not included.

Numerous download issues with launcher/DLC & clearly not an isolated issue.

The English files are there for people who bought the game in other regions but want English. If you downloaded them for an English copy... well... that's kind of funny honestly.

That would make sense, but clearly it should not be listed for a version that already has those speech files.

If you got the game from any English speaking place, then it's in english and It already has all that.

It's listed in error. It doesn't matter it's already installed.

GOG is a Polish company so I hesitated to make that assumption. Obviously it's much lesser issue to mistakenly list an unnecessary dlc than to leave out the English speech, but it's still one of several issues that detract from what should be a smooth experience.

DRM != Copy protection
they said no DRM for the game, not no DRM for the DLCs.
It's absolutely nothing like DRM. If it was DRM, the problems with CDPr's servers would be preventing us from playing the game at all, rather than preventing a small number of people from downloading 1 extra sidequest they've got for free, or a convenient, but unnecessary voice pack (English and Polish voice packs are 'Universal', as in, they are available to all copies/localisations of the game, as these two are going to be the most popular languages to play in, and, for example, some English speaking users will want to use Polish voices, but English subtitles).

I think it's good feedback, insofar as the option to download English subtitles for games installed with English language shouldn't be provided as an option in the updater/downloader.

It's unnecessarily confusing.

I am sure CDP will fix it in time ^.^

About the DRM, I think you shouldn't be too concerned. The game is, and remains, without DRM. I just reinstalled TW1, and can still play it without any activation.

If you want to get patches, or additional content, you need to activate the game, which takes maybe 30 seconds (for TW2), and is barely an annoyance if you legally purchased the game.

To be honest, it's unfair to give CDP any flak about such a non-issue.

Other companies, still in Stone Age, treat their customers as constant would-be pirates, or Facebook marketing guinea pigs, not to mention loosing the valuable information that we would have to provide them with, before launching the game we legally purchased (see the PSN fiasco).

Everytime I try to download dlc or redeemable code content I either cannot connect, lose connection or after download and during item verification I lose connection and have to start again. Thing is even when trying to play the game this continues in the background it woyuld seem and crashes my game. Going to have to disconnect the internet while playing.

Also this is a form of DRM. You will have to be registered and connected to the net to recieve patches. Unless patches are suddenly being considered free DLC.
Some things are just never good enough for people. You only have to register the game to receive patches, and DLC. Not too mention....ALL DLC IS FREE. At what point can a fan base become satisfied that a company is doing everything in their legal power to help the consumer.

Some examples of CDPR's kindness:

Free DLC
Quick patch support
No DRM (on GOG)
Ability to pick what region you are from, which helps the fans in Australia get the game they payed for without censoring
"Same anywhere" pricing, to get around arbitrary inflation depending on what country/region you are from

NO OTHER COMPANY DOES THIS!

How much more do they have to give?
