why is it sold here?

any other new games? I'd stop using Steam if I can use GOG isntead anyway

Because GoG are CD Projekt, the people that made The Witcher 1 & 2.
Clear it up?
GoG aren't CD Projekt. They're sister companies.

Who cares?!?!
Good Old Games and Good New Games!!!

I doubt I'd ever stop using Steam, though - since too many BIG titles wind-up requiring it and that a lot of their sales are often border-line insane.

GoG and CD Project Red are all owned by the same company - CD Project Group. GoG isn't CD Project Red, but it is CD Project
All GoG games are DRM free.

How many publishers you think want to do that? Ubisoft doesn't. EA definitely won't. Activition? Yeah right. 2K Games? They don't even like PC Gamers. Bethesda and Zenimax? Hell no.

Which independent developers other CD Projekt want to go for it? CryTek? Yeah... they don't like PC Gamers either.

You are left with some indie developers, that does surprise me why they aren't on GoG since they sell their games DRM free, but they go through Steam which is a DRM, so that makes little to no sense. Let's make our games DRM free but we sell our games on a DRM, brilliant!

Because GoG is for taking old games and making them work on Windows XP/Vista/7 and selling those old games.

One of the goals of the Steam platform was to create a venue for indie developers to sell their games, and Steam has done that very well. Steam has 80% of digital sales, it make total business sense for these indie developers to sell their games on a platform with a huge customer base.

Actually it is brilliant of them to sell their games on Steam, because of the huge customer base and the exposure. Obviously these indie developers are not Anti-DRM, but they are Pro Profit making and exposure. Steam is seen more as a digital sales platform and with all the other features it has, and less as a DRM. Really, it is the only DRM that actually has value added features.

Not even CD Project is Anti DRM as they lead you to believe. Notice how CD Project has the rights to all digital distribution, and yet when the game released it had DRM on all Digital distribution versions other then GoG.

Yup you're right. But CD Projekt Red is the developer of The Witcher 2 right? While CD Project (GoG owner) is the publisher.

Off-topic:
Do you think it is fair to blame GoG / CDP on The Witcher 2 bugs and glitches of the game and patch? Because in my understanding, they're just the publisher.

GOG is composed of individuals that work on GOG, while working for company CD Projekt.
CDProjekt Red is composed of individuals working on The Witcher 2, while working for company CD Projekt.

So it does not make sense to blame GOG people for anything Witcher 2 related, just like it does not make sense to blame CDP Red people for anything GOG related, even if both are under the same company.
They are working on different things.

Okay i get it. But what about the other games? Like the other old games which running using Dosbox. If the game didn't working, missing several feature (music, soundtrack) or optimized correctly, then do you think it is fair to point finger at GoG?
I'd buy my games anywhere they're sold where DRM-free is used as a promotional feature.

If a game isn't working for you, it is best to start your finger-pointing with your computer.

Not even God, much less GoG, could make every old game compatible with every modern computer, especially when those computers were built by companies that do not care whether their computers can run good and goodly obscure old games, or configured and used by users who have added "features" (especially notorious offenders like QuickTime or G35 headsets) that make them incompatible with GoG's best efforts to make a game compatible with most of the PCs out there.

that depends on case by case basis, sometimes GOG people can be at fault (like in Moto Racer's problem), other times the problem can be caused by user's PC or by some other problem.
There are gog games that are also new, see Two Worlds! The Witcher! etc

I don't really care if this site sells good OLD games or not, but rather if they're drm free or not.
GOG or GNG, it's all good to me
