thanx for the reply ... i did sum search on radeon cards as well ... but i realy find it difficult to switch from nvidia .. ill still see to that card as well
Mad-E-Fact: A Radeon 5850 plays Witcher 2 at 1080p, everything maxed except ubersampling, 30-40fps average. DX11, goes for around 100 bucks*. I own one and couldn't be happier with it.
*bitcoin miners permitting. I got mine for 110, but prices fluctuate a lot.
thats cool .. i didnt know that ... 9800 has been with me fr 2 yars now .. n im quiet happy with it .. given how old the card is .. it runs all the games that i own on high or medium high .. never on low ..
bullsheet: im sorry if this is not related to witcher 2 .. but i guess most of u guyz have knowledge abt graphic cards .. so i thought id ask here .. im planning to buy a gtx460 .. n im not sure how long is it gonna last .. i currently have 9800gt n it plays most of my games on high settings .. i even played witcher 2 with no stability issues .. on medium settings ..
my question is shud i really buy this graphic card now or shud i jus wait for a few more months n get a better 1 that wud atleast last for 2-3 years .. ?
groburn: I would suggest that you wait for Nvidia's Kepler series. The GTX600 series. Those will come out at the fourth quarter of the year and that's right when Skyrim is gonna be released. The 600 series will offer better performance for less energy consumption. Till then stick with your 9800 :)
yea cleaning the gpu or cpu is the last thing im worried abt .. coz i do that once in a month atleast .. thanx for the reply :)
tommy5761: Don`t see any reason why it shouldn`t last 2-3 years providing that no serious overclocking is involved and computer cleaning is done from time to time . Heat will kill even the best of cards not to mention other components .
