I was wondering if this link is true?

It seems to be just a comparison of PC low vs PC high.

That would be an accurate comparison because if you ever dissected an XBox, its basically a small PC with modifications to the MS Windows OS and no keyboard or Mouse (controller acts as both...sort of). The thing about an Xbox, is the processor is significanantly lower than a gaming PC (though not low-mid end office workstation) and the graphics processing is WAY lower than a gaming PC. I mean, seriously, with the heat generated by some of those, is it any wonder. Especially with a smaller device like the Xbox.
But CD Projeckt hasn't released any 360 screenshots so I don't think those are from the 360.

Your right, it isn't. But given the hardware in the XBox, I wouldn't be surprise if this comparison is nearly dead on...let's say low mode like I started before I got my GTX 500 card), compared to the high. The difference is singificant. I ashamed to say it, but aftering seeing the game in high mode, I can't think of going back to low. How silly is that? I start thinking I should go back to Baldor's Gate; the high end graphics may rot my brain (or at least cloud my opinion of the story and system which is in some ways better, but in other ways worse than Witcher 1. I don't think much of the new fightening system or of arm wresteling...although the sword/spell system are way better.) I better stop before this digresses into a full blown review and I'm not even done with the game yet...LOL

notice the 360 textures especially on lorveth's jacket? blurry mess.
Supposedly, they're from the E3 presentation. This guy from RPG gamer http://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q2-2011/060911e.html also posted the same pics with some new ones. So, i guess it's true.
low rated
They've already done demos of the console-tard version. If it exceeds the pc version in any way, shame on CDPR. I hope it looks like fuckin' pacman.

And let me stress something here: the pc version still needs support in regard to multiple bugs, particularly with the UI and hotkeys, and auto targeting, and a number of other issues....and they are focusing on the console versions right now. Seriously?

Who the fuck was it that they sold the million + copies of TW1 to? Was it the console audience? No, it was fucking pc. People like me who bought both the GoG version and CE, just so they could finally support a company who would make games for a 'dying platform'. What a crock of shit for them to even play that card. Anyone remember them saying that? Over and over again? 'for a dying platform?'

CDPR, you need to support the people who got you here in the first place.

I highly doubt his is from the 360.

Although this seems to be more believable.

Have a look at the differences between the Foltests' necklaces...

These screens could have been done better, imo... or bigger at least, though maybe that was the biggest screen cap that CDPR released. Also, we'll have to see the game in motion before we start to figure out exactly how crappy the 360 version looks in comparison. :PPPPPPP

So far, it doesn't look bad. I wish CDPR lots of success with their porting!

[edit] These seem to be the screens everyone has for TW2 360:

From today's update: "Moreover, we would like to assure you that announcing the Xbox 360 version of the game does not mean discontinuing support for the PC version. We read your comments, we listen to your opinions and we are working hard on the patch. Among other fixes the patch 1.3 will add support for 4:3 resolutions."

You could argue that they're using resources that could be devoted to the PC, slowing down the patching process, and I think that would be a fair point. Making it sound like they've abandoned PC gamers is a little much, though. They're clearly still listening and working on fixing PC-version issues.

sort of. its not really a "clearly" matter. for all it COULD be (not saying is) is can be them trying to save face. they WILL not fix the UI
What is it with militant PC elitism? Seriously? Are gamers' world perspective so miniscule that they should need to bolster their confidence in themselves by proclaiming that their gaming entertainment preference makes them inherently more intelligent?

I love PC games, and how the modding community can be so helpful, but when I see comments like some of the ones in this thread, it just makes me think of a pale frustrated adolescent nerd screaming through his mic at Counterstrike.

If playing PC games makes you so much more superior, why do some seem to lack logical faculty and a level headed attitude towards discussion?

I was referencing scampywiak's comment, everyone else is great.
Last comment on the subject and I won't derail this anymore than I already have:

I had lunch last week with a developer of Kindle games, and he talked for hours how the profits of larger video games ala Mass Effect or TW2 are far less than that of the recent Pay2Play model of games, such like Farmville, or any of the Facebook abominations that restrict how much time you'd like to play, or cut out 1/3 of the content and only make it available once you give them your credit card.

Seeing such a great developer like CDPR break out into a larger market is a great thing, we need more developers to stick around.

I think it is a great idea for CDPR to try to develop a foot hold in another segment of the market provided of course the quality and depth of the platform that provided the funds necessary for this expansion are still catered too. I have no problem with TW2 or TW3 for that matter being able to be played on a console provided the PC experience is not diminished by that expansion. But when i get control schemes that start to tag more and more functions to single keys, like attack, search (loot), use, open all being tagged to left click that is where my problem starts. I do understand that in order to make the game playable on the consoles due to the limited function of thier controllers these changes are necessary, but these changes are not necessary for the PC platform. It is at this point that one MUST draw the conclusion by the current interface that CDPR is forgetting thier primary market in the first place, forgetting that thier primary customer base abiet there is only about 1.5 million of us but you are on the map not because of the consoles, but because of the PC.
