Nukleon: Where are you guys getting the gog.com version? All the site says is "For the GOG.com version of The Witcher 2, please use the patch available at the GOG.com website. "
Wondering just the same thing.
This is weird.

I have downloaded both International files (Patcher_International.exe and Patcher1.1_International.exe) and both give the below error:

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z184/shirike/Untitled-1-4.jpg

Out of curiosity I checked the version info of the witcher2.exe in

C:\Program Files (x86)\The Witcher 2\bin

and it states:

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z184/shirike/Untitled-1-5.jpg

Language is Poland but I bought this in the UK and Product verison is 0.0.0.0 :?
Just re-re-downloaded the international patch, still the same error.
The patch does reset your settings though :(

Kurgen: "If patch installation fails for any reason (for example, due to a failed Internet connection), uninstall the game completely and proceed with reinstallation as outlined in item 2. "

Err... no. That would be around the time I'd be moving on to another game. Let's hope I don't hit that particular error. Maybe if it didn't affect saves, but even then...
You don't have to sit there and watch the installation bar gradually build up. You could just set it installing and go off and watch TV for a bit. You don't even have to leave the PC, just go on iPlayer or download and watch Game of Thrones.
They just tweeted that the patch is being uploaded as we speak -- 46 seconds ago. Any minute now.

They being GOG or CDPR?
Here http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/The-Witcher-2-Assassins-of-Kings-Patch.shtml they have the patch for the gog version I just tried it and it worked fine.
this is why you wait for official announcements. the patch page isn't even accessibly by ordinary means.
