pitfiend: What patience? check your website update comments, you're long overdue, its way past patience now, its all about how long it takes the guys with torches and pitchforks to reach your studios.
They are ONLY 2 days late with their estimated release, give them a break. if what they say is true it will either release late this evening or tomorrow morning.

glosoli: calm down champ, I'm not the one who released the statement. Just a messenger.
You shouldn't take me too seriously, I'm just bored out of my mind, but these guys are pissed:

pitfiend: Yup, and its our money... No one ever taught you the customer is always right?
avatar
Coelocanth: After over 30 years working in various retail jobs, I can say with confidence that the customer is seldom right.
Well-said. And pitfiend, saying that you will not buy future products from the company and tell your friends not to buy them... Yes, that'd have an impact if nearly all the customers did that, but do you see every owner of Assassins of Kings coming in here all riled up that their patch hasn't arrived yet? So angry at CDP that they'll not buy future products? Because, if not, then all of your grandiose statements about companies being trampled and no quarter being given is a bunch of hot air.

EDIT: Just read the above post. I felt like that last night- sorry about snapping.

cloud8521: you had to listen to a woman speak? intently?

oh god that alone is worse then any punishment.. i feel sorry for you

AudreyWinter: That is not even funny, troll.
Haha. I actually like to listen to my wife talk, MOST of the time. Most women are the same way.

My mother on the other hand..any time she starts talking I always end up saying the same thing....

"Mom, Long story short, long story short"

Lol =)
How many of those idioys do you think actually bought the game? That is classic behaviour from the whiny snot nosed pirate brigade.
I hope the people that are just straight up whining are not able to download the patch when it is live. I understand being anxious but please calm down.

I can attest to this, been in my own business for 18 years, retail. Customers can be a real pain. I've had, not many, but a few customers tell me they had a bad experience with me and would not return and make sure their friends down.

All that does is anger me..it doesn't make me work harder for them..because typically they were wrong anyways.

I won't go into it..but I get a lot of customers that are clueless...most often..they are not right...even when I tell them they are.

I treat my customers well though.

This.

I'm bit baffled with the hostility around this, luckily not that much here but the community place is horrible. Sure I would have understood it if they would have told that no patch is coming. But they have constantly told that they are working on it and will release it as soon as they can. Sure they made an error of judgement by raising false hopes with premature release date, but everyone makes mistakes.

what Business? i thought you said you were legit now i learn that you also sell things?
Been playing for the last hour with the "bad" patch and all. My first play-through, had been contenting myself with L.A. Noire previously, so I don't have any experience to compare post-patch to, but I have to say that the game is running pretty smoothly on my crap 5750, high spec @ 1920x1080. I was able to remap the keys the way I wanted (I'm a big arrow key adherent :) ), and I've been having a blast so far.

Little confused in that I haven't experienced the insane difficulty that people were talking about with respect to the prologue, but I don't know if the patch was supposed to address that, or if maybe I haven't gotten to that part yet (just now on my way to the temple).

The prologue is the hardest part...for me after that the game (so far up to where I am anyways) is pretty easy. I hear I have some harder parts coming though.

It's responses like those people that cause a lot of developers to keep their mouth shut about updates until they're actually released. Seriously I never saw CDPR ever announce an official date. They were giving a heads up trying to keep people in the loop letting them know they were working on it. Oh well hopefully this doesn't scare them away from being as open about their work going forward.

hmm.. never heard of the vacuum cleaner... what drug is that a code-name for?!

when you day repair you mean you "fix" people up with it?
So CE only DLCs are free to everyone?
