Sorry about the 300 posts so far here's 301 Thanks for the news!! appreciate it I always knew they'd fix stuff...I just weanted to waste bandwith!!!
Somebody with the username "CDProjekt RED" posted this at TW2 community site:

"Everybody, please be patient.
We are currently testing the patch.
It will be released Friday morning."

I don't know if it's official because they haven't bothered updating the entry but it seems likely that they'll miss yet another deadline.
I just want the forums to be up again. I don't understand what it's taking so long.
someone with that username also posted that the patch won't be released. ever.
they are not from CD Projekt Red. Community patch needs no registration. Everyone keeps posting, some of them are trolling.

haha didn't see that. Well, CDPR is to blame for not posting updates.

Rather have them work on the patch, then post.

There is like half hour until tomorrow in Poland time so they could at least have posted "Sorry but we don't know when the patch will be ready".

I have a theory about project estimates I put in a previous posting. I may be off my rocker but I think this new ETA is working out pretty close: Take the LONGEST release date you can imagine (CDPR said "early next week" last Friday so 3-4 days), then add 30% (that would be roughly Wednesday, or MID-next week), then tell Project Champion/Manager that is the earliest possible date so they will add 30% to your 30% (which would roughly early Friday I think or LATE-next week). So according to my forumla, next Friday should be about right. Problem is, CDPR under pressure from an anxious public so they really gave the earliest possible date. LOL. Of course I had also said its generally rare for even this adjusted estimate to be on time..... For more amazing preditions, see "Murphy's Law". For those that don't know it, google. This is not complaining or putting down the CDPR team. I'm sure they are working their butts off. This is simply the nature of projects, even with the most brilliant team members.
clearly Wednesday evening has passed as well, you'd think doing a definite ETA for a patch release would not be rocket science... but maybe they do extra testing because of the AMD Hotfix release

Maybe they have gone home?
Really, if they haven't released the patch within normal working hours, take it as a "Sorry, no patch today."

I rather have that they do it the way they are, then write "Patch coming soon". Soon can be months, while the way they are doing it now, we know that the pizzaman is on the steps.

I don't know what development form they are using, properly some kinda of agile software development. Does not really matter.

What matters is that estimates are just that, estimates of how long it will take them to resolve x problems over n time. There is no science in it. Estimates are best guesses.

You can estimate that "The bug" takes 5 hours to fix. But when you are in the code, trying to fix it, it can take much longer or maybe even as little as 10min.

Sadly, I currently live in the Midwest, and apparently no one from New York has ever thought of bringing good pizza to the area. :( I sometimes dream of quitting my day job and starting up a pizzeria. It's that bad.

That's sad to hear :-( If you're into thin crusts, here's a recipe I personaly enjoy:
