Too bad that it wasn't released with these. I am the only one of all my friends, that have a 16:9 monitor. They all have 16:10.
Those black bars on 16:10 are such a gamebreaker. What a bunch of crybabies. Now, I feel sorry for those who have 10 year old monitors. 4:3 must be horrendous with the letterbox. But, 16:10?

How spoiled can people get? :p It hasn't stopped me from playing my PS3 or Xbox 360 for years, I can tell you that, and it certainly didn't stop me from play the Witcher 2.

I have 4:3. This "issue" is no big deal. I agree. Fix the real problems first.

I passed the whole prologue before even noticing I had black bars (I have 16:10).

Tho I realize that other ratios will have a lot of black on screen, I hope this will get fixed soon.

Yeah, those bars make me hate the game so much, turn it into the most broken thing I've played in my life. Those bars are nothing but evil, and every time I play I can't take my eyes off of them!

Seriously though, good to know they'll be fixing that in the future, and furthermore I just realized I've got them too. Didn't notice these 'horrific bars of game-breakingness' until just now, halfway through Chapter 2 of my second playthrough.

I guess people LOVE their monitors. Does anyone out there own a home montitor that even fits on a regular desk anymore? Everyone seems to want 21" minimum. Many use their 40-55" LCD requiring massive video cards to use properly. This is probably why 4:3 ratio went on the back burner. Glad I have a 16:9 LCD TV.
