Marcin, will this be available as a separate DL or is it only going to be obtainable through the in-game patcher to registered users? And this (and subsequent patches) will be compatible with the GOG version 9as opposed to having to wait for the installer to be updated on GOG)? Thanks.

Knightpt: Hello, is it planned any balancing in the dificulty of combat in the prologue on "normal" dificulty?

Most friends of mine were comenting that in the prologue the combat is way too hard and they had little time to "learn" how to fight before fights like in the ballista and the dreaded courtyard and dragon scenes.

Not saying the game is too hard in general on "normal", i find it quite perfect, just saying that in the "prologue" you should have a better learning curve to avoid leting new people start complaining about the game ;)
I had issue with combat too on normal, specially in the prologue tutorial the final battle prior to opening up the gates. All I can say is you can't just go in with sword and expect to trade punches. Use all the abilities allowed, stuns, bombs, traps, shields. Now it's actually easy but I definitely was frustrated at that gate opening part in the prologue. Not anymore! Awesome job with the game Witcher 2 developers!!@

Patch will be available from the launcher in all versions at the same time as far as I know.

Thanks, Marcin, but just a clarification: this means there won't be a standalone patch available?

Another hint, when there are multiple enemies, ignore the guy(s) with one hand weapon and shield for last. They do the least amount of burst damage but can absorb more due to their shield. Focus on the other npcs and take them down first. Save the shield guys for last.
How soon is "soon"? A few hours, or Monday?
I have a question so with patch 1.1 it mentions keymapping does that apply to the game pad too, cause I want to bind quick save to back button of the controller without messing around with the ini files.
Hi Marcin and CDPR!

Congratulations in delivering this MASTERPIECE. Out of my entire PC gaming this is the BEST RPG i have ever played!. I have bought 2 copies of this game and if there's a GOTY version i will be buying it as well.

I have a slight request though. Why is there no Advanced audio settings? I would like to see Music, Battlemusic, Sound Effects, Ambience, Dialogue as seperate volume settings. Please add this basic feature as Witcher 1 has it too.

On top of this, please do ALLOW switching between view in Journal, Inventory, Skilltree, Map. At the moment, in ANY of the active view, you must ESC before able to switch to other window. It would be great CONVENIENCE if when displaying Journal i can go to the MAP directly without pressing ESC.

Thank you for this CHEAP.. Standard Price PREMIUM content game.

Best Regards,
Archaven
Thanks for the information Marcin/CDP Red!

Indeed. I was originally going to purchase a digital download copy but after calling my nearest retail outlet, Gamestop, decided to get the boxed set and real glad I did.

The Boxed set comes with not only the game itself but another developer diary dvd and a soundtrack CD!

Definitely a great buy. Guys at Witcher 2 did not take any shortcuts with this amazing game!

I bought the digital premium edition from gog.com and got the soundtrack and four bonus tracks that are apparently gog-only. ;) There were electronic versions of the game guide, game manual, art book, papercrafts, the pamphlet and envelope, bonus video dvd and the developer diary... maybe something else...

Definitely glad I bought it from gog.com (especially since it installed, activated, registered, and got the DLC downloaded with no problems whatsoever once the servers were available).

I agree, well worth the money. Even nicer to see was the large number of people who were commenting on the torrents for the game and saying that CDP deserves their money for this one, and people should buy it instead of downloading it.
