so yeah i patched my retail version with the international patch and it screwed up my whole game (i got the amd hotfix 11.5b) before the patch i could run around 40 fps on medium, now it can't get higher then 25 fps on low and its lagging like hell..... :( did i do something wrong or?

AudreyWinter: Thanks, revial!
Sadly, they didn't patch anything I need patched. Except maybe the DOF crashes. Maybe. I'll better not try this again before someone can definitely confirm that controller works (works better would be rad, but I'd settle).

revial: The only thing I've noticed (and I ran the game fine without the patch) is that pressing Esc to reach the main menu happens faster for me than it did pre-patch. In fact, so far it's been instant. Only 15 mins spent playing though.

Otherwise, in the 15 mins I've played, I can't say I noticed any improvements (but that's a big one for me). Then again, I didn't have any performance issues other than the menu taking time to pop up sometimes.
Only the first installment. 1.2 is rumor to be out next week.

But you haven't tried a controller, right?
It's vital for me, because I can't move and fight without controller, so that'd be a dull game for me. ;)

Maybe I'd better play without the patch (and the free DLC) for a while longer, or I might not live to finish the game once, let alone twice. ;)

Turn off uber sampling..it probably turned back on and you missed it.

Check again your settings.. I had to reconfigure after patching. My previous settings were lost. As I posted I actually got an improve on my ATI 5850 after patching.

one patch was released prematurally and people linked it to external sites before CDPR killed the links to the bad patch binaries. You may have gotten ont of those.
Does anyone know if this patch makes the troll dlc playable? Just wondering.

Edit: I just read the patch notes, never mind ^.^

To be clear, I'm not complaining. I had no issues, as I've finished it 3 times on High settings without a hitch. :p I'm not expecting any patch to make me be able to play with Ubersampling. ;) I only posted that to say that there was nothing explicit about the menu screen load time in the patch notes, so even if you don't think you have any issues addressed by the patch, it may be worth patching anyways.
Its officially out, so the poster who said 4:30 PM GMT, you were close than me. Off by only a few hours. You win!!

I'll test with a controller. I hated it a week ago though, so I may come across a bit biased. ;p Need to restart comp to bypass win7 driver signature enforcement. Will post in a few minutes.
Its a good thing i havent yet burnt my gog version to dvd then.

In DM mapping archive there are the Numpad keys .. is strange .

Can you read them without installing it first? I know people have posted a few things but its hard for me to determine if they apply to the GOG patch and one person said they don't have Troll Trouble which was supposed to be in patch 1.1
nope i don't have ubersampling on (i put everything on low and in advanced options double checked it) i also just installed the patch from gog.com the international version like 20 min ago so i guess it's the right one. still giving me 25 fps and really laggy wich is weird cause i played on medium/high settings before with only some micro stutters

So, I don't know what your issue was with the controller, but it seems fine. I still hate it, because I think the quick menu navigation is incredibly clunky though.

AudreyWinter: Anybody of you with GoG version playing with the controller? Is the left stick usable in the menus and radial menu? Does the "insert" key do anything? WITH the patch, of course.

Indeed, patchlog would be useful.
Oh wait, here's your post.

For me, no it is not, and no the insert key does nothing.

Though I'm using a PS3 controller emulated as an Xbox 360 one, so no idea if that affects anything. :p
