It is the same link that the gog downloads for the witcher downloads from so it is official.

For those that got the gog patch earlier from thewitcher.com 1.1 patch page, it is the same file as the official one, just the name has changed.

Sorry about the confusion.
It is the same one from last night..so all this time I had the patch, just needed to remove DLC/Mods before patching.

Would be nice if they included that in the instructions.

It's a content delivery network server. They host content for various companies so the "official" servers don't get hammered to death.
