I really hope the menu navigation with the Gamepad is improved or at least explained better -love the feel of the combat with a 360 pad but equipping items is a mess as is alchemy.

Also, the inability to compare what you currently have equipped with what a seller is offering is a real pain (unless I've missed something?).

Any estimate on when the patch will go live?

We already have this patch installed.
It installed immediately after installation of the game (gog version at least)
Dear Vitor121796

At the moment it's for Steam version of The Witcher 2.
Best regards.

Sincerely
This is the patch that has already gone live :) (auto inslalled on install)

Now I'm waiting for the patch that eliminate two shameful things like the lack of a full keybinding and the lack of native 16:10 resolution.

So it's the same as the Steam version one mentioned later?

The patcher tells me I'm up to date so I guess so, thanks!

So should the version be 1.0.6041.43456? Because that's what I have but apparently the Steam version as at 1.0.605?

Is it just a different version number because it's on a different download service or is something wrong?
Dear Vitor121796

I don't know. As far as other Users say, GOG.com has already this patch.
Best regards.

Are you looking at the version number of the launcher... or the actual witcher2.exe file?
1.0.6041.43456 is what the exe should be (including day 1 patch)

Yeah, that's what I have! Looks like I'm fully up to date then, thanks!
Yup. The day 1 patch is included. Y'all should be fine to play without updating anything.

That's strange, cos the xbox 360 controller still sucks when trying to select anything from the radial menu.. hmmm.
Dear Friends

New patch will be released in the next week:

Moreover, we are about to finish work on a patch that will address some common issues like mouse inversion and key mapping as well as many others. It will be ready next week!
