Maybe someone can help me with this one ?

You know the hardest thing I've found in the game is the Mini-Game Arm Wrestling.

I don't know if I'm just tooo old (56) for this one or my mouse sucks or I just don't get it but I can't seem to keep that little icon on that damn bar.

I seem to only be able to move it to the right (my side) and not to the left at all, is that the way it's suppose to work. If I click to many time (right or left mouse button) it zooms across to the right side and the yellow bar zooms along to the left side and they seem to win every time.

Oh well it's only a small part of the whole but rather annoying to this old storyteller trying to make a few Orens in the raging World around me.

Don't click the mouse multiple times. HOLD the mouse button down and move it so as to keep it within the designated area. You should be able to move it both to the left and to the right.

A poster in another thread said that increasing the mouse's sensitivity in the game options menu helped her with the arm wrestling.

Try changing your mouse sensitivity in the option menu. It helped me.

I had better luck decreasing the mouse sensitivity. When you have your opponent almost pinned, you need very fine control; too gross a movement will put you in a position that is very hard to recover from.

This is already mark as solved, but anyway, what's been said, plus for me, the trick has been to try to keep the circle aligned not to the center of the bar, but slightly left

you don't click anything, don't listen to those that tells you to.

you basically just move your mouse to the left or right and keep the round icon inside the moving yellow bar. don't move too much. at the start always move to the right and slowly adjust if needed. i win 8 out of 10 times.

Just remember that the mouse cursor is drunk, so doesn't react right away, so you do have to try to anticipate - and use very small movements. You'll get it.

If it were too easy, then it wouldn't be a challenge!

I got pretty good at arm wrestling, so I tried over and over again to beat him "sober". Its impossible. Normally, I find the trick is to get started "winning", with the cursor slowly drifting to your end. Then it is usually only a matter of keeping a steady hand to the end. With Numa - I can keep it centered for a bit, then the area suddenly jerks away, making me lose the center. I think it is made that way. I don't think you could win no matter how many times you tried.

Interesting, I never had to press any button, all I did was waggle my mouse, at times very precision oriented indeed, but carefully moved just my mouse itself with no clicking & it moved for me fine in game winning all but Numa without steroids. XD

No clicking/holding down any mouse button on my part too. Played on Normal and Hard. Don't know what a few of these posters are talking about.

Left all the way the beginning. Leave it still as it goes right. then right.
This is ridiculous but this game is actually easier with an Xbox 360 controller. Just make sure, you're not tired.
