Letho is a bro,I let him go every time.
I killed him. I was gutted when he killed Foltest. I wasn't going to just let him walk away.
I had a nice conversation with him, but I couldn't forgive him. He kidnapped Triss, killed one of the more noble kings (yes Foltest wasn't perfect but he was nothing like Henselt).
Having said that, on a 2nd playthrough, I might let him live, to see how this decision would impact witcher 3 or future expansions.

Jeffro: He's a bad guy(an almost absolutely clear-cut bad guy if you went the Iorveth path), so he died. His juiced-up, no-neck, assassin ass will die in every future playthrough as well.

And considering I have this thing going on in my brain that Triss is, in fact, Yennefer. He just helped the same women twice.

Saskia is the only one in this whole mess that should absolutely be saved every time you possibly can, such a great character.
Triss is not Yennefer in fact :p

Oh, c'mon! Triss is ttly an agent of Nilfgard :-)
First playthrough (Iorveth) I let him go and this was my canon run. My primary goal was to clear my name and my second goal was to take down the puppet master. The fact that he was nothing more then a puppet and was honest about everything went a long way. Add in that he wasn't a threat to me, saved Yennifer plus shared his vodka and I had no choice, being a rational nuetral Garelt, but to let Letho live under the condition that he promised not to interfere in northern affairs again.

He didn't kill me or Triss (Triss is not a hapless lass and can exact her own revenge if she feels the need) when he had the chance to so everything stayed on the professional level.

Now with swords sharpened I look forward to taking the head of the emperor who was the puppet master behind the regicides and ultimitly Foltest's death.

On my canon run I also let Sile and Saskia live. Sile had more information for me and had nothing to do with Foltest's murder and Saskia was under the spell of the sorceresses. I only kill true monsters (monsters can be humans too!) or to defend myself and friends.

My second playthrough (Roche) I just killed him for the challenge and it was the only somewhat challenging fight I had in that chapter. Good fight:D
Maybe I just believed him a lot and I thought that I owed him something after all he's done for me, but I let him go. There just seemed no reason anymore because of his intent and the fact he could have if he wanted to. He may have done some despicable things, but so has everyone in the entire flippin' game.
