Spoiler warning:

I just start act 3. The design of Loc Mui ( you can see that I just start act 3 and dont know a heck, even the city name) is like a puzzle to me. It resembles a big circle with tauting look.

The way into the city: it looks like getting into a big building with 3 doors.

Near Temerin camp, there is an inn, probably so. People just sit there play dice, in a hollow room without house keeper, waiters, chit chat. I know I dont want to play there.

I somehow feel that the guy who design this level got to go home early to for his wife. Please no offense, just try to put it in a humor way.

also: I read the art books: there are 1 page for Loc Mui, there are 5 or more for Flotsam and others. I have a feeling. It resembles Kirwalk in DA 2

Back in act 2: I admire the inn in Flotsam: it is just like an inn with sausage hanging on its ceiling.

Actually, it was my favorite location in the game. The design was slightly reminiscent of "the other side" in Gothic 2 expansion and of some locations in Planescape. Definitely my cup of tea ;)
I think what lead to needless complication and confusion was the map. I had no clue how to get in certain secluded areas of the area because the paths weren't exactly visible.

The opening snowy mountain trail you found yourself in was gorgeous. Was really hoping for a long trek to the city, akin to the march through snowy peaks in the Lord of the Rings movies.

That would have certainly extended the short length of the 3rd act also. Slightly disappointed that we got to the city so fast.
I like the opening of act 3 with the conversation between my Gerald and Roche. It makes me feel that my character, no mater which side I play with, my Gerald still has a mind of his own

Great minds think alike! ;) While walking with Vernon, I paused to take a look from atop the hill and through " gosh, doesn't that look like a modern version of the besieged castle from NOTR!
it was pretty simple to figure out really. all of the locations are well crafted and the designers clearly had architectural knowledge.
you know the eye on walls and arches, etc? I felt that was creepy, like its always watching you, no escape from what you are doing. I guess thats why Loc Muinne was the ideal location for the submit where the leaders can't do anything but talk.
