This is not intended as a B**ch thread, just some funny and/or odd observations.

"How many more can there be?" - Geralt says this a lot while fighting in my game and it clearly is not his voice.

The Troll - That mofo never did fix that damn bridge!

Prologue - had several doors is houses "glow" after using medallion (Z) yet they were unopenable. (containers also)

rain - Love when it rains and too many NPCs scramble to take cover under the same roof and some are forced to stand in the rain due to lack of room, they seem to get confused and go into a loop of running away a few steps then running right back to try and fit despite there being plenty of space under a roof a few yds away.

Looting - Gotta love how you can rob everyone blind and nobody seems to take notice despite standing right beside you.


Anyone else got stupid / funny stuff to share? (as spoiler free as possible please for those who may not be as far along as you are)

Well it does not seem like you stay in Flotsam for too long anyway. I would imagine it takes a bit to rebuild a bridge.

Had not noticed the "glow" issue. I will try again in my next play-through

Have not seen perfect NPC AI in any game, really. Though they may do that in the rain, it is overall pretty decent AI.

Someone mentioned looting in another thread. I totally agree - we should not be able to pillage other people so easily.

I had a few of my own but I cannot recall right now...

LOL, just saw a post on the gamespot boards where a guy was arm-wresting and in the cutscence of the discussion before the match the game placed Geralt in a campfire and he proceeded to win arm-wrestling while on fire...LOL

And i'm not buying your Troll logic, every time i go there that lazy mofo is sleeping or just sitting under the bridge.
I think he fell off the wagon. LOL

Doors, Chorab the storyteller, Vernon Roche surviving dragon landing on top of him in prologue, Jail guard yell "all for one and one for all"

rofl, its Chorab's bedtime story for his wife every night. But the way he recalls the story is Epic, its like a god-like legend, i never meet anyone who revered the white wolf until i met Chorab haha. I feel bad for punching him cos he tried to cheat me off 100 orens...

I was actually impressed that Chorabs stories actually did accurately reflect my choices in the first Witcher.
But yeah they made darn sure you're gonna hear those stories if you're anywhere nearby.
Sad part is i actually took a break and sat there and listened to them in their entirety.

Arriving in village in front of flotsam, a girl asks her mom "Why does he carry two swords? Does he lose them that often?". I cracked up.
There is a nother awesome line in the brothel in chapter two, but I forgot.

Right Guard in front of Henselts' Tent making fun of Geralt.

Oh yeah in Act 2 Adam Pangratt. For some reason, half the times you talk to him, Geralt gets positioning on top of the campfire and worse stays there after the arm wrestling. So you basically get insta-immolated every single time you want an easy 200 Orens.

In Act 2, Roche's path, during the battle, you can see Roche run across a wooden bridge, but then he jumps and slams his feet down on the planks, apparently trying to make it break intentionally and fall through. Or at least that's what it looks =)

Minor spoilers:

My first playthrough in Chapter 3,Iorveth path.When Geralt and Iorveth split up in Loc Muinne and you proceed towards the merchants area,you stumble upon a group of soldiers and a mage that want to capture/kill you.So I'm fighting them on the open,but they got me to almost zero health and I start running around and I see that I can get into the building(the building with dice players) nearby.I run in and a cutscene starts.That guy I beat in Vergen wants to fistfight again.We are fistfighting and the soldiers are hitting me.The combat log says Geralt suffered a mortal wound.I beat the guy again and gain a level.As I gained a level I recover to full health and beat the shit out of the rest of the soldiers. :D

In the prison early game I accidently alerted the guards, after a short fight I messed up badly and was on very low life.. so I ran.... straight into a room that started a cutscene, the guards chasing me all stopped right behind me while the scene played out and oddly enough from the way one of the guards was standing Geralt had a sword stuck through his chest from behind.. all the while he was happily chatting away in the scene, looked bizarre :)

After scene was done I bludgeoned the rest of the guards to death ofc.

I love the two women in the brothel in the inn in Flotsam talking about what doing it "witcher style" means.

Something about how the guy has to give it a go and fail, then fall asleep and when he wakes up the girl is still a virgin.

Not completely random but I think it's a funny bit of dialogue.

In my first playthrough which was on a then un-patched version the arm-wrestling fire mishap happened to me a lot, mostly in the Keadweni camp. Finished the arm wrestling and Geralt was on fire. I reckon it happened a couple of times in regular convos as well.

Other funny stuff, I thought the LOTR reference by Geralt and Iorveth when talking to Philippa about the "rings of power" was a nice touch, had me laughing out loud.

"Witcher and striga style". That cracks me up everytime.
