Does anyone know how to put modified sounds back into the game?
e.g Cat Potion (I think it is hearbeat_loop in generic_gui)
or the new Dark mode annoying noise (and effect)
I just uploaded arena soundtrack on youtube. Enjoy :)

username85: The music files are extracted only for 75% of their original lenght.
Might be a FMOD version conflict. It was tested only with the release version... source is included and might be fixed by interested developers.

adamhm: I've put together an an extension for the official soundtrack as it was bugging me that the official OST was missing so many tracks; I've uploaded it for others to enjoy as well (I hope CDPR doesn't mind).

Download link (megaupload)
I suffered a hard drive failure last week, and in the midst of restoring my music library, I went back here to grab the extended TW2 soundtrack. Of course, now that Megaupload was taken down by the FBI (seriously...), the link above no longer works. Does anyone have this hosted on an alternative site, somewhere? I'd be most grateful. :)

EDIT: A'ha! Found it on a private web storage of mine - I apparently had the foresight to upload it there (together with a couple of other things I have been looking for since the tragedy). Thanks anyway, and if anyone knows a good, easy-to-use website, I can of course upload it there, just in case someone else is looking for it.

I managed to grab it long before the shutdown. I looked around my old downloads, and apparently I still have the original zipped file that was uploaded for everyone in this thread. Here you go: MediaFire link.

All thanks go to the original uploader of course, adamhm :). Hope this helps the latecomers.

And this is why I hate US Government with passion.
Besides millions of other reasons.

No problem; I'm glad I could help. Those missing tracks are too good to pass up, especially given all the work that adamhm put into extracting them and naming/tagging them to fit perfectly with the rest of the official soundtrack.

If anything ever happens to that MediaFire link (doubtful, but who knows), just PM me and I'll re-upload it somewhere else.

Look what you did...!
You posted the soundtrack and CDPR sent a commando team to take out the provider :)
Since we'll be getting a new soundtrack along with the EE update on the 17th I'm hoping that the missing tracks (plus any new tracks) will all be included in it... if not then I guess we'll have to see about making a new extended OST :P
New soundtrack included with EE has 50 tracks...
A lot of new music :)
Yes, lots of the missing tracks (plus trailer music etc.) are included now :) Although there are still some tracks missing and some tracks are edited/shortened versions (not sure why they did that), so I'll see about doing a new extended OST after I finish my current playthrough
I've finished with the TW2EE extended soundtrack, it can be downloaded from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jdy3m5 (99.57MB)
The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition Unofficial Extended Soundtrack

This adds 15 tracks to the official OST from GOG.com, including the full versions of the tracks "Blue Mountains" and "Vergen By Night". All tracks have been ripped from the game then encoded as 320kbps MP3s, except "Vergen By Night" which is from the original GOG.com OST.

Track list:

47. Vergen By Night (7:31)
48. By The King's Will (1:15)
49. Chapter 1 Intro (3:22)
50. The Elven Ruins (3:10)
51. Fighting the Kingslayer (1:09)
52. Unrest (4:04)
53. The Cursed Battlefield (4:20)
54. Assassin Encounter (1:13)
55. The Battle for Vergen (1:17)
56. Blue Mountains (6:19)
57. Forest (1:33)
58. Dragon Battle (1:20)
59. Conversation with Letho (2:16)
60. Ladybird v2 (1:10)
61. Elaine Ettariel (Epilogue) (3:12)

Also included is a batch file to quickly rename all tracks from the GOG.com version of the EE soundtrack to follow the same convention as used by the original soundtrack and the additional tracks: "<track number>. <track name>.mp3"

Simply extract all files to the same directory as the EE soundtrack and run rengogw2st.bat
I'm still hoping that CDPR will eventually release an official 100% complete version of the soundtrack though :)
