metalfreak: its on factory settings, its a new card and this is the first game it run. it looks like its getting hot
What a minute, on a second read, I've seen it's an OC Edition, that means it's already OverClocked in factory settings.
Before trying anything else, I'd try to decrease the cards GPU and Memory clock or Voltage. Depending on what tools and drivers you've installed, there will be an option in some place. I think this card comes with a dedicated tool which can do it all (=>
TriXX). There you can also see the cards temperature.
Alternatively, retry playing the game with low graphic settings (deactivate all fancy 3D enhancements in your graphic driver's control panel) and increase them one after another until the glitch appears to get an idea what else could cause it.
