Hi guys, I'm playing through TW2 in preparation for TW3, I got Solar Quen and I've noticed, no matter how weak the attack, Solar quen wears off after 1 hit, whereas Normal Quen could take a few hits, *SPOILER* I'm in the first battle with Letho right now, I know his signs are better than mine at the point, but his normal quen is lasting several hits, whereas my solar quen, no matter it be Letho's blade or a small nekker claw, is only enduring one hit.

Is this normal? Is the only pro of Solar Quen the chance of burn damage? Should I just deactivate the DLC to get normal quen back?

Don't compare his Quen with yours. :) MML (Meat Mountain Letho) is a boss and he is far more powerful. You can't knock him over with Aard, but he can do it with you. You can't 'go through' his Quen, bouncing of him, but he will destroy your and will not loose his balance.
And yes, it's normal - Quen absorbs set amount of damage. And Letho, as boss, deals much more than average soldier/monster. Solar Quen do not weakens the Sign, only ads to it. So your normal Quen would last the same.

I thought as much when it came to Letho but even Nekkers can destroy my shield in one hit, before solar quen, it took multiple hits.
Now I'm confused... But still I don't think it weakend it. Need to search for myself.
