For those playing the game already, does Shani appear in any way, shape or form in the sequel?

I'm not that far into the game, but it seems she doesn't. If she will it might be a minor appearance.

She was very cute, but too goody-two-shoes to provide an interesting plot, especially when compared to complex Merigold I guess ;-)

I thought there were 4 different beginning scenerios? I had chosen to "wed" Triss who I woke up with in TW2 ...Was thinking if I had chosen the self-righteous bitch Shani I would have woken up with her???

Someone with a Shani save should confirm wether there are differences (there probably are) but Merigold plays too big a role in the plot of TW2 to be totally replaced. There probably will be less sex if one did choose the hot nurse over naughty magician.

Really beginning to think I'm the only person in the entire world who chose Shani.

Call me crazy, but if I had to choose between a control freak and someone capable of ripping off my "special treasure" with magical force while I slept in the night, I think I'd prefer to be whipped. Lesser of the two evils.
