I'm not sure if it's a glitch in the game or if my quest is broken.

I'm wearing Seltrik's Armor and already killed Traut, the man who was wearing it.

I've spoken to Dethmold and told him I killed him. Yet both the Witcher and Dethmold talk about him like he is still alive, and mention Seltrik's Armor several times and it's unknown location -- even though I am wearing it!

Does this sound right? Did anyone else experience this? Or is this just some minor glitch in the game that doesn't effect quest / story.

Please help. Thanks. =)

Well you need to get Seltirk's armor for the quest to break the battlefield curse. So yeah, if the game isn't recognizing that you have the armor already I think you are going to have to reload an earlier save.

Are you wearing it? Geralt looks like a badass in the armor.

I think if your Faith Symbolized quest is completed then you are good to go. There might be a glitch in dialogues.

Yes, I am wearing it. I'm going to try and figure out what to do next and update.

As for reloading to an earlier save, I'm way too deep in the game. I completed that quest earlier and have since gotten some nice gear from the caves. And yes, I was wearing it when speaking to Dethmold.

Will update soon ...

Don't bother reloading. Same thing happened to me, it's just that the developers didn't program any response in Geralt already obtaining the armor earlier than that conversation. Play on as normal.

I think it is just a dialogue glitch. Same thing happened to me, and everything progressed smoothly.

I say I think it is, because I am not gonna guarantee that you won't see some problem that I somehow managed to avoid. I have only done that chapter in that order once. But I don't think you should worry. I have played through three times and nothing has managed to glitch the main quest line. I screwed up a few side quests, but that is all.
