I've found all nine corpses (three groups of three) for this quest. However, my count is stuck at 8/9. I've tried revisiting them and left-clicking on them again, to no avail.

Thanks - unfortunately I started the quest a long way back. Since it's a side one, I'll skip it - is the reward any good or just money?

Oh, I'm pretty sure I've actually found all the bodies; it's just that activating them only results in 8 out of 9 being counted. Unless there are more than three behind the brothel? (The other two groups of bodies are rather compact, while those behind the brothel are a bit more spread out.)

Yep you got it right... 3 groups of 3. I don't remember but I think you only get ores and xp as a reward... Anyway that quest is bugged, the guy that's supposed to give you the reward after completing the quest sometimes appears at Vergen on the minimap, which by the time you get the quest can't be accessed due to the fog... Either you load a previous save or just skip it. You won't miss anything relevant.

umm as far as i can remember, there are 3 on the area at the back of the brothel tents. 3 around the collapsed caravan and 3 more corpses on the far left side when you leave the camp from Zyvik's door.

If you are sure that you lit them all up, try doing again because sometimes corpse doesn't fire up when you standing on or very near to it and even if you could lit it up, it doesn't count as all fired up. like a sparkle you can say. That happened to me once and i started that quest all over again from a previous save. there are lots of bugged quests still, maybe that's the problem.

The corpses at the back of the brother, where the patrol is, are spread out. One near the back of the tower, one between tower and patrol, one at the border of the mountainchain.
