according to Triss, I need green mould to get rid of it. Now I haven't been able to find green mould at all. Is it possible to get the green mold around Flotsam at all?

You can buy it off an npc. I only remember because I bought it before I knew what it was used for specifically because it said quest item in the description. Which NPC exactly, I can't recall, but there are only so many shops, so have at it. :)

I bought green mold but apparantly triss doesn't understand it because she's not removing it at all. She just repeats how she can do it but never does.

edit: Oh it's wolf's aloe. Hmm I hope I can get that somewhere too.

Both Green Mold and Wolf's Aloe can be bought from the herbalist/witch outside of Flotsam.

I didn't realize that you can remove the tattoo in chapter 1, but now I'm in chapter 2 and the sorceress said that she can remove it if I bring her these ingredients. Where can you find these in chapter 2?

you can buy green mold from npc vendors that sells ingredients in all cities. Locations: floatsam (near the execution area), war camp (guy in the hospitalish tent), act III (a lady with some kind of shop shelf around Roche) it's about 100 orens as i remember.

What if you're in Vergen? I've searched every shop but I haven't been able to find green mold or wolf's aloe.

i have no idea about where you can find in Vergen.

It seems really out of place if every city has a merchant that sells the ingredients, except for Vergen. Any help here folks?

You've been clearly so concentrated and bent on quests you didn't take the time to simply kick back and relax with your special forces buddies in act 1... You missed helluva party man!

I went back and talked to Dandelion and the dwarf (I'm blanking on his name) a few times but it didn't lead to any quests. Was I supposed to chat with Triss?

For that quest you have to go talk to Ven and their mates. Go the stairs up on the building next to the inn (on the left of the inn when u stand in front of it.
