Ok, so here's my little cosmetic mod for update in the original posting: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_return_of_the_white_wolf_hair_replacement_texture
Welcome to all who said thanks. I realize the approach will not be to everyone's taste, but I'm not trying to please everyone. You are free to create a separate list containing the excluded mods, similar to the Baldur's Gate forum which has a conservative guide and a more 'all out' guide.

If the mods paused that I would certainly include it, but as is they definitely affect balance to the point of being exploitable/creating an unfair advantage.

Can you provide a screenshot please? Just use FRAPS...it's an essential program anyway.
Edit: nevermind..noticed the post about the performance hit..if the better method is used I'd probably love to add it.

Thank you OP.
I find slow scrolling of tooltips to be very frustrating. Scrolling is generally something that needs to be avoided because it just shows off how UI designers are bad at their work.
I mean, come on, I am no programmer but it should not be that hard to fit everything into a tooltip, it is not like there are few pages of info. This movement looks really cheap. Font size could have easily been smaller, ffs.
are the weapons and armor editable?
Anyone have any idea if there are moddable CVAR's or config settings for Witcher 2? Would be nice to be able to tweak things like bloom values, AF etc. a la CryEngine. I know the engine is new but just wondering. I found the User.ini but there's very little in there.

Well i made a counter-mod to the white wolf one (it just turned out that way given how long i was spending in that mod topic ,p)

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_return_of_the_black_wolf_hair_replacement_texture

Though i can understand if you don't list it, its definitely not lore.
I'd kill for a mod that added a north arrow to the minimap, or even one that stopped it from rotating. As i stands, I find it confuses more than it helps, and I end up consulting the full size map more than I'd ideally like to.

Hmm..no problem including non-canon stuff if it's cool and still suits the game in some way or another but this looks off.
+1 for a Sticky.... please???

Can you either list complete mods that don't hold your gold star of approval, or could somebody else create a full list of mods? I don't mean any offence to you at all Chautemoc but if this thread gets stickied you're causing visibility issues for all mods you don't approve of, which is a pretty dick move.

eRe4s3r: For my personal ego

Potion Duration Extension (60m potion durations, except cat potion)
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_potion_duration_extension

Oil Duration Extension (makes most oils last 30m, the OP ones 15m)
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_oil_duration_extension

Don't think its cheat mods, as at least potions should last into the boss battles even when you don't skip cutscenes (now that* is a cheat)

Sadly without official forums and the horrible search, and fact that gog forums are not indexed by google it makes mods difficult to find.
I truly recommend this! It's a pain to drink potions only to find out that over 1/2 duration is gone due to cutscenes and I donnot skip cutscenes to save my life! Not in a game like this! Not in DA:Origins!

And the Crafting Components Reduced Weight Mod is less a cheat than the Weightless Inventory. I still get encumbered pretty often (which I like) and I don't need to sell crafting items to make space! Just the loot!

I'd list these 3 in the OP! (pots/oil/components reduced weight mods)

/signed for Sticky too!

New mods:

Minimap direction indicator:
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_minimap_direction_pointer

Classic (easier to recognize) dice set:
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/mod_classic_dice_set_with_easier_to_recognize_dice

And once more, I'd ask you to add mods you do not like. There are many people out there who are looking for exactly those. And it's not your responsibility to decide which mods they can or cannot use.
