If I delete all my saves and leave just the last one, would this single save carry all my decisions I've made throughout the game? So if I import it to Witcher 3 (assuming it comes out and I'll be able to import it) would those decisions be reflected there from that one save? Or do I need all the saves? There's so many of them :/ . Thx

Yes :) Don't worry and feel free to delete the saves you don't need, they do take up a lot of space.
You can also rename the saves if you want ... or even edit the picture.

For example, first time I played I wasn't happy with everything, but I wanted to keep the save anyway.
So I deleted everything except the save right before the final encounter, changed the number of those files to 00, and put giant green words in the picture that says "FIRST GAME LAST FIGHT"

I suspect though, the "import ready" file is the autosave that's made right after completing the game.
Since most of us have no issue with actual "space" available on our Hard Drives, I would just move them out of the gamesaves directory and organize them into folders somewhere else, so you know what playthrough, or what path this "set of saves" relate to. Murphy's Law says that if you delete a save - THAT''s the one you will want to load up later to check something out.

Yes, you can edit the pics for a really detailed organization as noted above.
If you use 7-zip, you can get some incredible compression and back up a bunch of saves that way. Don't know if it still works as well since they started compressing saves, but I have ~50 1.1-sized save files compressed into one 12 megabyte 7-zip folder.

Quoted for bitter truth.

"Oh, I'll just delete all my saves up to mid-Chapter 2, I won't need them!"

:(
This mod makes managing saves a bit easier. It has a compression function too.

Hmm. Interesting.

Since you're familiar with the mods, would you happen to know if there's one that disables autosaves altogether?
I'm playing insane, and the only thing autosaves do is shit me.
(well, except for the final autosave, but I guess I can disable the mod if I get that far)

Not that I am aware of, sorry. I just use that manager to clean most of them out at the end of a session.
Yeah.. I too use that little mod. Kind of easier than deleting one at a time with deletekey when playing with a controller.
Just using regular 7zip, my complete saves are as follows
Roche's path-first run 218 MB , Iorveth's path- second run 188MB ,
and Roche's path-third run 240 MB--- compressed and zipped and still in the gamesaves file so I can find them in three or four years when I need them. I also inserted a game decision log ( just a notepad thing) into the same folder to help me remember in the future what save is what. I am sure that mod helps too, but I am not all that worried about the saves taking too much space now as this is ,what, only a half gig at this point? Still playing path number four btw. the point is that I have every save in each file just in case it's needed later and they are resting comfortably where I can find them later.
