BenHurt: Did reinstalling and patching work? I am getting the same message about my an invalid or incomplete version and exiting. My installation was pure vanilla (no mods, only the troll trouble dlc) from the DVD's and I downloaded the Patcher_ATARI patcher which is supposed to be for the North American DVD version.

Can you copy the comment into a reply here? The link doesn't go to the specific comment and they don't have any visible numbers on them, and trying to parse through the html would be painful.

It goes in my browser (FF). Anyways:
do you by chance have troll.dzip or troll.dlc in your CookedPC folder from before 1.1 patch? If so move that file outside of CookedPC and try running the patch again.

Thanks mate - that was exactly the problem.

Strange about the link - I'm using FF as well.

can't patch either - neither manually or via GOG - bad show. Having to reinstall to patch is not a good solution.
