Hey everyone

(Possible Act 1 spoiler) I'm currently on the Kayran: A Matter of Price quest and need to see the kayran merchant for my reward. The problem is that I cannot find him anywhere! I know his exact location and have talked to him earlier (I managed to get him to pay double for the kill). I've looked for him at his normal spot at all times of the day and in the local houses, but no luck.

Please help!

I believe he is also the Mysterious Merchant?? I couldn't find him after completing the troll trouble quest and the 1.2 patch either>> Perhaps its time related??

I have the same problem i remember extorting 2 merchants but i can not find the other one, I found the one by the area where you first walk in around the crybaby who yells if you talk to him. The other on i seemed to have lost track of oh well, as money is so far irrelevant, and i have more than enough alchemy supplies i will just make a note of him in the next play to be sure where he is.

You go west from the Inn.
You pass a guy with a cooking pot on your right, turn right and he should be in the open shed on your left.

The merchant in question wears dark clothing, a skull-hugging cap and glasses.

On a side note some quests can be location tracked if you double click on them in the journal. This is one of them.

That's my problem though, I'm at his location standing right on top of where he should be, but he's just not there (or anywhere else). I'm quest tracking but the location is not shown on the maps.

Yes, he wanders a little bit. If he isn't standing where he was when you first talked to him, he's probably counting his wares in the covered storage area across from the mysterious merchant. Just a few steps across the road.

Unfortunately, still no luck. Are there any known missing NPC bugs? I really don't want to start the game over if I can help it.

It would be an unusual bug. Try in the daytime.

He isn't. They are standing about 10 feet apart from each other, however.

I've checked that spot at all times of the day (including the inn and the nearby houses) but he's still missing. I'll keep looking for him and post results if I do, but at this point I think that I'm going to have to restart the game.

He's usually down by the docks (where you first entered Flotsam).
