Yeah, I can take that one out, but when I drop another sign, sit there for a bit to agro one of the tentacles, it merely hits the sign (after I rolled out of the way) and continues on its merry way. One time I got lucky and was able to take out two, but the other ones merely swiped me and killed me instead of attacking from above.
If you could, that would be amazing; I'd rather actually get to play the game, even if some of the decisions aren't exactly mine :)
OmnificOne: Hey everyone, I was just wondering if someone could upload a post-Kayran save. For some reason, only one of the tentacles gets trapped by the sign, while for the rest the tentacles merely hit it and do nothing. I've tried reloading repeatedly and I'm getting nowhere. I just immediately get killed by the rest as I can't kill them. Thanks.
Edit: If it makes any difference, it's the Direct2Drive version.
mystral: Just to be sure, you did cut off that first tentacle, right?
And you are trying to trap the side tentacles? The two center ones can't be trapped because they're too big.
Yes, I managed to trap and kill the two side ones that aren't directly next to the barrier, but the ones immediately next to the barrier will not attack from above and merely swipe at me, so the sign does nothing.
