revial: My instinctive reaction is always, noooooooo, it adds gravity to your choices!
But, let's be real. We can always choose not to respec, so those of us who like to have gravity in our choices can still have them, while those who don't care about consequences can be happy too.
But, that's not 100% true either, since we're human beings, and life doesn't work that well. We'd be constantly tempted to respect if we made a mistake or something if the choice was available to us. We're not perfect.
So...I go back to being happy that we're not allowed to respec. :p My first playthrough Geralt was a mess, btw. Spread thin via only a few skills with more than one point in, the majority of skills bought turned out, imo, to be utterly useless with no effect on my game. I am doing a very, very, very, VERY different setup in my second playthrough (swords are pointless outside of maybe the midway point to hit multiple enemies imo).
Well thats why I was thinking the best way to add it would not be in the default game it self but either through console commands or user mods. That way the core of the game still limits you but for users such as my self who just like to play around with the talent trees, can play around with them at will if we so choose. I mean personally in EVERY game with talents or something akin to it I spend hours fiddling with them, I just find it fun. I really wish I can do the same in this game.
