backtrap: If letho was a bad ass
Nope. It's right after the fight. It's a very cheap story progression: im in ur brothel killrapin' ur gf, u just laytherethxbye

227: Your original post was a whiny cop-out, not a serious analysis of the cons of the game.
And why would I post a "serious analysis" here, where it has been done by so many others? Mine is here, but you probably won't be able to understand it: http://gabucino.be/files/witcher2.html

227: Rather than asking for help
And why would I ask for help, when there will be none to come? It's been already discussed in other threads.

avatar
227: No one cares.
What was that about "try asking for help" again?

Now I tried finding the Visionary, but it seems there's no way to get to the exclamation mark on the map. What the hell's wrong with this level design? Why doesn't the minimap has a "north" mark? Why is there a 3 seconds lag when I open the map? And so on. I am sorry (for myself), but these glitches make the game unplayable.

no one cares about that hungarian crap seriously. Oh and there's a saying in my country, if one person tells u, u are drunk it's ok, but if more say the same thing, then you should probably go to sleep.
The way i see it, every single person in here is more or less annoyed by your original post, and the ones that followed. I'm gonna use the greek expression "nipton tas hiras mu" which means i'm done with your (trollin).

EDIT: oh and since I'm a good guy, i suggest you install some freaking mods, so you can at least do the quests. The first sticky in this forum. I personally, am still waiting for some quest mod to pinpoint me in the right direction for every quest possible.

Its true CDPR needs to fix some things, but at least get through the game once and perhaps wait for the next patch before you do a second run.

Well no thanks to your irony pal. Istenen bosomego!

In the end, i think I'm gonna contradict this person real hard, since the game IS playable the way it is! Though I wish there were some alpha features, like that powerful ard sign and limbs torn off.

Because it makes more sense than beginning a thread that says nothing at all :)

Because the reason for the lag is still unclear, and more information can't hurt the effort to root out the cause. Incidentally, what OS are you running?

I'd help you out with the Visionary, but that was a playthrough ago for me and I actually forgot where he is. If you follow the area and hit a dead end, go back and look for a missed path (obviously). I do remember that the area surrounding his house isn't as large as it seems at first. Maybe someone else can give you some actual directions.

That's exactly my point: I want to get through the game, but not at all costs! Right now, the glitches together with the design failures prevent even one enjoyable playthrough, let alone two...

And that's coming from someone who suffered through the abysmal DA2. At least that game did have properly working controls, no black loading screens every half minute, and a working map. If nothing else.
Just Get off your sissy horse and play the god damn thing without bitching and whining! In the end it's all just a habit!

Thanks, that's what I figured, but I only found an unclimbable mountainside instead of that passage.

i'm not mad, i'm just annoyed by your whining. Besides, this is turning into a pissing contest.
AND i offered to help and your response was at least ironic. I'm telling you to be ambitious, something you obviously aren't!

Don't cross the bridge. Turn left right after leaving the camp and follow the outer palisades.

Win7/64, Intel C2D 2.8Ghz, Gf9600GT. Running W2 on the lowest settings, as it was recommended. Incidentally, I have no idea why CDPR thought V-Sync should be disabled by default.
