Oh and the excuse for getting the pirated version because you can't wait even though you paid for the game? Well you are helping people who have not paid for the game to get the game illegally.
Depends on your ratio.
If you cap your upspeed below your downspeed and don't leave your torrent open after finishing, you're more likely hurting them. ;) (though an almost unnoticable amount, since you're only 1 person)

archaven: I have very slow internet connection 512kbps.. I have to wait till CDPR officially lift the unlock.

Albeit the heavy piracy.. geez i really miracle happens and these bunch of pirates will go swarm the stores and buy it tomorrow.
I actually did that at the time of doom 3. :)

i could download a copy of TW1 of torrent and CDPR can't do anything.
because i own the original copy of the game.

CDPR said they were going after pirates.
i doubt they will have the power to get the pirates from private torrent sites and Usenet.

And if your using USENET then its a mute point anyway because they dont use a torrent system.

I do realize that you are trying to incite flames and personal attacks towards me when i'm all sad and disappointed when the developer CDPR that i have much respect of have been ripped off by pirates.

And you are here to direct personal insults to me? Geez i believe you must be one of the pirates that leak the game....

I doubt it is that easy to just go from a 100% pc-focussed company to a console-first company. It also involves sacrifices. I'm no console gamer, so i may be wrong on this one, but: i have the impression that there aren't that many console-exclusives. (not in this stage of the lifecycle. only the big, huge, badass titles that they hold on to through the cycles, like halo or killzone. and ofc, not talking about the wii, which is totally different in targetted segment)
